Went for a consultation and ended up getting my forehead done. Eek! In and out in 20 minutes!

Nothing to see yet. She says I won't see a result for a week. She wouldn't do anything else today or even any other areas.

Oh - told a friend at school in what I thought was confidence and she flippin well told another friend who wandered over! Was not happy! Grr. Don't mind you lot knowing . Or people I choose to tell.

Well I have just had a quick google and on wikipedia it says no deaths have been attributed to cosmetic use. And I am not dead yet!

GetOrfMoiLand · 12/04/2011 17:30

OOOH!

I have a consultation on Saturday - I thought that was it, just a consultation. I wonder if I will get the chance to have it done on Saturday?

Out of nosiness how much was it?

Buda · 12/04/2011 17:31

Prod away computermouse!

It didn't really hurt no. It;s a very fine needle. I am not bothered by needles really although am not into pain! But it was ok.

I've also got a consultation on Saturday when I booked it I asked how soon after I'd have to return to have it done and she said that if I want to I can get it done then, but no pressure. As long as they seem legit I'll go for it - can't wait.

Buda · 12/04/2011 17:34

GOML - I am in Hungary so prob different here with regard to legalities - I suspect that you would have a cooling off period/thinking period in UK?

Cost - it was 130 pounds.

catinboots · 12/04/2011 19:04

GOML - if you want it done at your consultation thet will normally do it there and then. They just call it a 'consultation' to lure you into the clinic Wink

GetOrfMoiLand · 13/04/2011 10:39

Yay

Lovelydaffs - come on tell us on Saturady how your botoxing went.

HotchpotchHoney · 13/04/2011 11:20

ooh id love something done with my crows feet. my forehead is fine and no lines or creases (its all that fat padding them out Wink). I am 35 today and in the last few months have become increasingly aware of my defects. I had my teeth whitened, just by a few shades to look clean and well looked after rather than needing sunglasses to look at me when i smile!
Anyone know of any good clinics in berkshire?

cybbo · 13/04/2011 11:26

why would they not do more than one area on your first go? I want 3 done on mine...otherwise whats the point?

Buda · 13/04/2011 13:27

Happy Birthday Hotchpotch. 35? I'll be 47 a month from tomorrow!

cybbo - I am not sure. I assumed it was to see how I reacted? Am planning another visit or two. I have a scar on my forehead that I would like sorted a bit. She said she can laser it and there will be an improvement but not as much as on a new scar. Mine is 6 years old. I may also get my crows feet done. And fillers in those lines that run down from your nose to the sides of your lips. Mine are suddenly very noticeable.

Karbea · 13/04/2011 15:28

Buda · 13/04/2011 16:45

I am going back next tues for some. I am quite concerned though at how much I don't like the look of myself now that the 1st lot has faded a bit.You will love it once it kicks in

NoelEdmondshair · 13/04/2011 17:47

So does it get rid of crow's feet?

Just asking on behalf of people who might have them, you understand Blush

biryani · 13/04/2011 17:58

Yes, it gets rid of crows' feet because it paralyses the muscles that move your face.

hatcam · 13/04/2011 18:00

Yes, me too I know someone with crows feet who needs to know!

hatcam · 13/04/2011 18:01

And karbea do you mind telling me how much you paid and would you recommend?

Karbea · 13/04/2011 19:39

Hello

I ended up spending a fortune! My oh is gonna kill me!

The bottom was£360 but I had some fillers done swell.

petitdonkey · 13/04/2011 19:42

noddy - how long has it lasted?

FattyAcid · 13/04/2011 19:49
