Nice scarf Bloss!

Thanks got your kind words Exhausted. Exercise works got me ad u am not great at dietary control- and it gives me a mood boost! I have cut down on carbs though and noticed a slight weight drop with absolutely no suffering.

I am feeling unfeasibly proud of myself having just killed a spider using a cast tome of DHs- at least that edition of 'Airborne Radar' has come in handy for something. I know I should catch them and put them outside- but i haven't quite got to that point yet!

notyummy · 05/04/2011 19:54

Damn the iPhone!! 'Exercise works well for me as I am not good at....'

VAST tome.....

FritziGreenEyes · 05/04/2011 19:54

oooh Love your P&J navy trench and your new shorts too!

bloss Hope the blouse is a keeper. The scarf is a great find! Can't believe how rainy it is where you are, you really deserve lots and lots of sunshine in Rome Smile.

mrsjuan Sounds like a fab holiday! You must be all bronzed and ready to bare your legs now. I am still exfoliating, moisturizing, exfoliating, moisturizing but don't dare to use any fake tan.

I feel a bit ambivalent about Cos but I don't love it as much as WIT or the fashion magazines do. I often end up wandering around the shop and leaving again unimpressed but the few things I have bought there are lovely.

Hi omni! Have only bought PJs from Hush so far.

carciofi · 05/04/2011 20:08

Exhausted, please can I be your friend and see your photos? :)

ABO, for free delivery from Anthropologie, try P23VPUQZH.

Bloss, lovely blouse and scarf. You do get the wear out of the coats so they are an investment really.

Really like those People Tree dresses but they would be indecently short on me!

Not a big fan of Cos here either.

Hi Nan, hope you have a great holiday.

Have waited in all day (bar a brief trip to feed the ducks and buy Grazia!) for my Max Mara jacket but still no sign, grrr. I'm eating raw garlic for my throat, maybe I'm repelling delivery men.

Red, have a fab trip to Cape Town.

Omni, I have PJs and a few tops from Hush, the quality is good, I think.

mrsjuan, welcome back. Where in Spain did you go?

blossoming · 05/04/2011 20:16

exhausted, I can't see your photos!
I would say if you can't wear ivory (like me) you would be a winter or summer. What are you like in black? Are muted tones better than strong colours? Is French navy better than true navy?

Hope you feel better soon carciofi. Have you warned your dh about the garlic?

Exhausted, :o

carciofi · 05/04/2011 20:18

It was his idea, Bloss. I think I have been keeping him awake (revenge, ha ha) with my coughing.

FritziGreenEyes · 05/04/2011 20:24

Sorry for DM link. Anyone doing coloured jeans this summer? I like the pale pink pair and yellow pair but it reminds me so much of trousers I wore in the mid 80s that I think I will pass on this trend. Saw lots of really lovely bright chinos in Zara yesterday too.

AntPants1 · 05/04/2011 20:26

exhausted can I see?

blossoming · 05/04/2011 20:32

A beautiful 'summer' exhausted!

Goooorgeeeous!!

MarshaBrady · 05/04/2011 20:45

Hello! That is it. A wave and a cheer. I am going to bed in a minute. I'll shall be sauntering through the thread later in the week Smile

MarshaBrady · 05/04/2011 20:46

erk at writing. Exhausted you look lovely!

roary · 05/04/2011 21:44

I have removed my trenchcoat (von H). Too hard to log in on my various devices!

Exhausted you do look lovely. A rubber dress might attract too much attention on the wards, you're right. But so PRACTICAL.

OK, off to bed. We are going to Canada for 2.5 weeks on Fri and there is much to do! V excited to go home. And very cold winter means there is tons of snow for skiing.

roary · 05/04/2011 21:46

PS meant to say to Vin: I've done admissions interviews a lot. People always underestimate their performance. And even if you were right (which I doubt) and the interview was not the best, we are CONSTANTLY being reminded from on high, and I mean constantly, that the interview is but one piece of information we have, among many, and we should not place too much weight on it. So I hope that helps :)

Emo76 · 05/04/2011 21:46

Fritzispy I am tempted by coloured jeans but not sure where to start - re cut etc. notice some skinny bright jbrands in various online shops but fear too low cut for me and my mumtum (which is being worked on - I have a cling film wrapped brand new shred vid waiting to be used...!)

exhausted you are gorgeous!

MrsJ welcome back!

vin you never know with these things, and well done for sorting time off from new billable hours job!

OWW are you still baking scones?!

No shopping tips to add here - I am a bit at sea with the new season and suddenly realising that I am not quite the size I want to be (baby now 6m old so I am running out of excuses!)
