carciofi that's a possibility, but it's a bit summery, and dressed up with black opaques and shoes it looks wrong. nude accessories worked for a black tie do but not sure they would for a trendy bar evening! hmmm. BTW that baby dress is gorgeous - and I have a baby girl who'd look rather sweet in it....
re MOAMU I am relieved to see there will be plenty of sitting down opportunities so high heels are a distinct possibility. perhaps if my outfit looks awful and my hair frizzes on the way over I could pretend to be someone else, a late joiner with a different username!
Is there going to be an announcer as each person joins? ..."and here, looking slightly frazzled and a bit bigger than we thought she'd be in real life, is Emo, not exactly cutting edge but brandishing what appears to be a bottle of champagne, the key accessory this spring.."
