Lol style I might have to hire you for my marketing Wink

No promoting to be honest, I'm very naughty really I should do more, but with designing, the making and putting it on folksy/etsy/my website I don't have the time for promoting as well.

I also work part time at a school and with family life it, hard to fit it all in.

Folksy had only just started when I signed up, so I've been there a while. I will have to make more of an effort- I took 8 months off jewellery making last year., but have recently been getting more and more into it again.

I've so much jewellery business stuff about a couple of necklace displays don't really add to the chaos that much Grin although all my displays and photographic bits are in storage under my bed. Beads materials etc are all in a spare wardrobe I have in my room.

One day I dream of having a work room

fromGirders I'm very Envy of your knitted bangles, I just can't get into doing that.

From what I have seen, having a blog with good pics helps to sell jewellery, as does posting on Twitter - but only if you post anyway and shove in a few "business" tweets. I stopped following one woman who was constantly clogging my timeline with ads.

I follow Mrs Gibson and have bought some of her jewellery, and then recommended them on my blog.

The problem with Etsy is it's all shipped from the USA, and anything over about £50 will be charged 20% VAT when it arrives and possible import duties so you may have to hand over cash when the postman delivers.

If you like good value silver jewellery check these guys out

Ta Mme - prob is, I just don't have enough hours in my day to write a blog. Anywhay, I've never quite worked out how people find blogs? I'm not very good at this networking stuff . . .
Going to start myself a facebook page and try to work it up from there I think.
