Hope ladies who were out last night enjoyed themselves.

Tracey think you were seeing the King's Speech - I drugged myself up and went to see it with DH too - really enjoyed it.

Must go and get the DC some breakfast!

MarshaBrady · 23/01/2011 07:50

Roma no black, navy or grey for a while either

Verity I loved that one. Melted my heart too. Such good acting. I adore don draper

OllieWollieWoo · 23/01/2011 07:56

Morning. I'm another who wished they'd got the navy Janice - and to think I even tried it on but decided against it! I got a bit excited when I saw the GREY Janice was back on the P8 website (think it came before the navy one) but its out of stock so no idea why its on there nice tho

Glad you all had nice Saturday evenings and your WE sounds lovely notyummy. Last nights dinner with 2 sets of neighbours was nice - we cooked the main course - Spanish pork and chorizo stew (a Delia recipe). Saturdays are my non-diet day - yum! Off to get iphone later.

traceybath · 23/01/2011 08:02

Morning - have roused myself from sick-bed as DH and I seem to be taking it in turns to be the 'most ill' Hmm

So quiet night in with Cazalet Chronicles - oooooh Edward is so dastardly am very much hoping he gets sent off to fight away from his poor daughter [worried]

Oh did watch the Gypsy Wedding programme with a face like this Shock

Hells - belated birthday wishes for baby Hells although not such a baby any more Smile

PlumSykes · 23/01/2011 08:10

So glad you are enjoying the Cazalets, TB. They really are the very best in sick-bed reading. I love Rupert so much.

blossoming · 23/01/2011 08:46

Hyperventilating at sight of grey janice.

blossoming · 23/01/2011 08:52

Sorry you're still poorly traceyb.
hells, glad your dd had a good day. Any photos of the cake?
notyummy, sounds like a lovely weekend. Glad you were feeling better for it.
Dh still in bed. I am also having a non diet weekend day ollie, and just had egg on buttered white toast.

RipMacWinkle · 23/01/2011 09:38

Bunny just to say am sure I saw size 10 navy Janice in our local Debenhams y'day if you like me to try and get and post?

LetThemEatCake · 23/01/2011 09:50

Morning. Have a hangover despite not drinking much last night, Odd how sometimes you can cane it and be fine, others times a total cadburys (glass and a half)

Bloss glad you had good night and looked fab
Tracey get well soon
Bunny you woukd look fab in the janice

My sequins were much admired last night and it was very lovely to have complete strangers come up to say 'great dress, you look fab'. Lady who shouted at me about rabbit fur was there! Grin. I assured her that no animals were harmed in the making of my dress and she was very nice and friendly, and apologised for rant.

I seem to have missed a trick with mad men, it doesn't appeal... Woukd I love it?

Have had a response from the difficult email I wrote the other night (our friends whose baby died at end of last year) and it appears I hit just the right note, which is such a relief

LetThemEatCake · 23/01/2011 10:04

Oh and I agree babyliss worthwhile buy!

Glad you are enjoying your weekend NY

Tracey - sorry you are feeling so rotten still - tell DH to get his act together...it's time for you to get some rest and heal properly.

Bloss - cake, if you can call it that (more like drunken mess) on FB.

LTEC - party sounded fab and it sounds like you shone (literally). I need to get back to shape. With all the birthdays and celebrations recently I have cheated so badly. Weight is urghh!

Love the grey janice!

Got this grey t-shirt but am actually planning to wear it in the day despite sequins (!)...I blame it on my age.

blossoming · 23/01/2011 10:27

Like it hells!

LetThemEatCake · 23/01/2011 10:34

hells it's great, she looks chuffed to bits

like the tee too

re weight I have had to hide the scales from self as weighing during peiod is off limits - I can't handle the anguish of the elevated numbers and then the torment of mentally totting up every single thing I have ever eaten in my life whilst desperately hoping that it is just water retention ... ugh. I feel gross though. So fat. Tempted to get preggo again!! Grin

bunnymother · 23/01/2011 10:35

Rip - oh v sweet of you - thank you for offering! Although think I will try the stripe Janice on and see that it fits and looks good before asking such a huge favour!

Hmm, sounds like BaByliss could also be a good idea...

Oh dear, poor you Tracey - being sick whilst looking after DCs is the pits. You really need all your energy, don't you?!

Ah Bloss - sounds like you had lots of fun! Terrific, and your DH admiring as ever - love it!

bunnymother · 23/01/2011 10:36

Cakey - is this last night's booze talking re potential DC4? Grin

bloss So lovely that your DH is appreciating how gorgeous you are! Your dad's remark made me smile. Must have made you feel like you are 16 again Grin.

notyummy Perfect weekend and MrYummy is just incredible! Please tell us he has at least one teeny tiny flaw. You don't need to tell us what it is! Smile

tracey Send DH outside with the DCs to museum and have a rest please! Have put the Cazalet Chronicles on my Amazon wishlist.

cake You are so good with words I didn't doubt for a second that your e-mail wouldn't be well received. I know what you mean though, not easy to find the right things to say. This is probably why so many people withdraw when things get difficult and you are in need of kind words and support. Much better to be courageous and say something wrong than not saying anything at all I think.

zembo Hope your pains are going to ease up soon.

bunny That buggy will be money well spent. Just imagine yourself wearing the striped Janice pushing it along with your two gorgeous DDs and DD1 too! I'm sure you'll turn heads wherever you go!

everything Enjoy your muffins with DS. Is your voice back?

hells Great T-shirt. Those sequins are definitely daytime appropriate.

I keep staring at grey Janice apparition! Has anyone seen it in RL? Deep breaths, bloss... inhale.. and exhale....

OMG I was idly contemplating getting pregnant again to cover up fatness - spooky! Am not going to though - oh no no no no.

Right cooking lunch whilst listening to Archers and Desert Islands discs.

Now come on who watched the gypsy wedding -Hells/Fleecy/Plum??

traceybath · 23/01/2011 11:34

And chuckling at Bloss' dad's comment re. your dress and coat Grin

MarshaBrady · 23/01/2011 11:38

I still havent got a p. I mean it's great, but seriously, over a year!

LetThemEatCake · 23/01/2011 11:45

Lying in a dark room waiting for L to fall asleep, am tempted to join him!!

Am ashamed to say that I was irritated by dh skyping this morning, the sight of him in plush hotel room with Tokyo skyline behind, grrrr. And me left with over excited fractious dc who want daddy's face in the 'pooter again...

Yes bunny ime there's a diff between stripey and navy janices, navy thinner material so looks better if not too close on knickers

Vin love that skirt.

Mental tally of wardrobe, think I have this brights/ colour blocking thing pretty sorted.

Tracey am so sure you are not fat. I just fancy another 2 years of no periods! Plus I just love being pregnant, giving birth, having a beautiful new child to discover... Amazing. Maybe when we get home, not this year.

Meant to say carciofi Clara is a lovely name! and thank you for your kind words fritzi
