FritziGreenEyes · 21/01/2011 22:53

hells How unnerving to wait so long for doctor's results. Step away from Google!

redllamayellowllama · 21/01/2011 22:56

To bed, night all.

loobylu3 · 21/01/2011 22:56

Oooh- I do get tired of seeing the same old actors in everything. It would be nice to have some rather less coventionally good looking people who can actually act! RG does have a rather interesting name though- wonder where that comes from...

Oh, cake- although I am the same mix of races that you are, I am still only slightly olive skinned and have the large/ bulbous nose and the Asian hairiness too! I've always liked being mixed race though and the DC are a real good old mixture too!

FritziGreenEyes · 21/01/2011 22:56

bloss That stripey Anglomania dress is lovely! I'm just slightly worried that there is a XXXL available Hmm.

LetThemEatCake · 21/01/2011 22:57

oh no red!! just saw your post. Bolleaux.

Right, give us a brief - Must have sleeves? skater style skirt? winter colour?

LetThemEatCake · 21/01/2011 23:00

purple dress, quite like it Black good too not sure of the shade of brown though Biscuit

FritziGreenEyes · 21/01/2011 23:09

cake Great maxi but I must resist and not buy any summer clothes before I know that we will have another holiday than a week on that farm, aka fashion-free zone, again.

Meant to ask who went to Porto Sani last year?

LetThemEatCake · 21/01/2011 23:22

Marsha would these work for you, maybe in one of the colours?

AllBuggiedOut · 21/01/2011 23:33

cake that maxi is trailing the ground on the model - brought to mind your striped H&M one of last summer! although whether this one would shrink or not Grin

Love the Davina. That length is very frumpy on me unfortunately. bloss it looks ideal work wear to me

And lol at Russian gymnast! The HH does look unflattering around the boobs/ribs on most of the pictures.

Ruth Jones looked amazing in her black anglomania on TV - was hers a Donna? I expect taht was a pretty large size and she looked wonderfully curvacious and sexy in it I thought.

Hope those of you with illness or injury are soon on the mend. And that children allow everybody a good night's sleep.

AllBuggiedOut · 21/01/2011 23:34

Ooh, surely somebody here needs this?

LetThemEatCake · 22/01/2011 00:15

well, I've just bought a whole load of the asos stuff that i've been linking to all night

so thanks for nothing you lot who should have been talking me out of it. Grin

No doubt most of it will be sent back (actually, most of it will definitely be sent back as I've bought 2 sizes of same thing, variations on same style etc etc) but there you go, easier and cheaper than a trip to the high street

will link you to any successes! good night all, hope everyone and their dc wake up bright and well on the morrow Smile

FritziGreenEyes · 22/01/2011 07:19

Morning!

cake Maybe some of your late-night Asos order will be fantastic, you never know.

abo I didn't mean to imply that Anglomania dress wouldn't look good on a curvacious figure and I hope I haven't offended anyone! I just have never seen a dress labelled with a triple-X-large, honestly.

FritziGreenEyes · 22/01/2011 07:23

redllama Forgot to say: WIT special on weddings Smile

OllieWollieWoo · 22/01/2011 08:09

Morning. Out for a days shopping with a friend - end of sale tat still in the shops so no high hopes re buying much!

Choo really pleased someone got a Davina. Hope you like.
Hells is it DD's b-day today? Happy Birthday if so. What cake did you decide on?
Pickled - glad you got a star dress. Am pleased it works with a belt - how tall are you if you don't mind me asking? Is the dress quite short? May look out for it today to try on.

I keep cliking on the link to MadameC's VW navy dress here. I really do like it but not sure whether it would suit me. I have ok shoulders, small boobs but hips and a bum (hips getting more noticeable due to v gradual weight loss). Could someone tell me again what figures work best for VW stuff (again I am so behind the trend! sorry). It would take care of Feb's budget but poss worth it? Also could it be worn with opaques as a bit Hmm of baring legs until height of summer?

hf128219 · 22/01/2011 08:58

Morning all. Glad not bad news at the Docs Hells

Nice bretons.

Great LKB dress Choo Their dresses are too long for me though.

Fritzi I think it was Esher and MM that went to Porto Sani last year.

Horrible weather here today. Was going to venture to Battersea Zoo (via Carciofi sofa shop on Lots Road for a looky!) but think it's too damp and cold for the zoo bit.

Have great days everyone Smile

hellsbelles · 22/01/2011 09:08

Ollie - yes it is! Great memory. We are going to do a princess castle cake (but not pink)...I am being a kind mother and letting DS help me decorate?!! So results could be interesting.

DD is having the most wonderful time already...we are staggering out the presents but she can't quite believe her luck (wonders if we are too mean the rest of the year!).

Better go and start baking!

MarshaBrady · 22/01/2011 09:10

Morning!

Ltec thanks for shoe link! But apart from the sequins those other lace ups didn't look good on me. Sausage-y. So looks like can't do the lace up thing.

Plus there are daffodil shoots, and deep red camelia buds in my garden. This means I can start thinking about Spring!

I am rather fond of these ss canvas boots. Nice with a lightish tan. But exxy.

I would like some bright 'block' colours Grin, maybe even some of that pale pink in the Marant ss stuff... and some bold black and white graphic thing.. oh and a floaty playsuit.

There is some stuff on NaP but they are almosts....

hf128219 · 22/01/2011 09:18

Hells Happy Birthday to DD! Have a great day.

The other thing I meant to say - We are famous!!

The stripey Janice has made it into the fasion pages of the February edition of Surrey Life!!! Yes, there are fashion pages in Surrey Life - and no I don't subsribe to it (yet).

carciofi · 22/01/2011 09:36

Oooh, I loved The Crimson Petal And The White, can't wait to see the adaptation.

Fritzi, how are you feeling? There is a Question Air nearby and DH was surprised that I have not yet gone in ... wait until June!

Choo, the Davina dress is gorgeous.

HF, I am sure they are sick of me at Sofa.com as I have changed the colour I want yet again.

I think glads are always popular in the summer, well, I am going to keep wearing mine!

Hells, glad the news wasn't bad and happy birthday to your DD.

Heathcliffscathy · 22/01/2011 09:38

is it just me or is halston heritage stuff fab looking online but {whispers} not very good quality IRL?

hf128219 · 22/01/2011 09:38

Carciofi What colour are you going for?

LetThemEatCake · 22/01/2011 09:43

I wouldn't say it was top notch quality Sophable but it looks sassy and quite sexy on. But then, I don't do tailored/ structured, not my style.

Happy 2nd birthday to gorgeous dd hells

Have a fun day oww

Birthday party this arvo, now how to contain my excitable children until 3?

FritziGreenEyes · 22/01/2011 09:43

ollie Love that dress! I remember others saying that the fabric of their Anglomanias is quite thin and needed spanx but not sure if iirc. You'll probably need to order and try.

marsha I have never worked out how people wear boots in summer. When it is really warm you wouldn't want half your leg covered in a boot and if it is a rainy colder day then a canvas boot wouldn't work either?! Probably not worth spending that much money on.

Happy birthday to mini-hells! Looking forward to pics of castle cake Wink.

hf Surrey Life fashion pages just made me Smile. Janice now really has been established as a fashion must have of the season 2010/2011!

Have good weekends all!

FritziGreenEyes · 22/01/2011 09:49

marsha Yay for first sign of spring in your garden! Have bulbs in glass vases all over the house and looking forward to first flowers!

hf Thank you for reminding me who went to Porto Sani!

carciofi I'm fine thanks. Feel a bit pathetic now as I made such a huge fuss but was in fact probably only a bit tired and DH stressed. There are many of you here who have to deal with so much more and do it more gracefully than complaining and whining Blush.

carciofi · 22/01/2011 09:53

Fritzi, you weren't whining but I am glad you are feeling better.

HF, this topaz, nicer than it looks on screen!
