Boden Sale-did you get what you wanted?

Morning All.
I have been quite sensible and bought the kids some things for next year.
I hadn't noticed this top before,so going to give it a go. Also trying the cropped wool trousers and the flared jeans.
I quite fancied the boiled wool coat but was gone in my size.
Hope it comes before Christmas!
So what did you buy and did you get that one thing you were hoping for?

I didn't browse extensively beforehand as I am always disappointed when what I like is sold out!

I got velvet mini skirt, velvet plimsols and cropped fave cardi (a staple in my wardrobe).

Got several bits for DD, notably a knitted dress with a dog on and the hopefully lovely padded jacket in size 11-12 (her current one is 9-10) and a couple of tops and trousers for the DSs.

The houndstooth jacket is fab. The wool is not as heavy as I was expecting but that's fine. Feels really warm. Good fit. I got the 14

likewise i got the fastest ever delivery i've had from boden - ordered thurs eve and it was with me on saturday - a miracle as i live in north west Highlands and the central belt of Scotland has been almost at a standstill due to snow recently, so we've had more than one day with no post at all. I got the daisy smoke notting hill silk dress - a bargain for £33. Couldn't resist wearing it to a dinner/ceilidh last night (with the silvery grey cropped cashmere cardi from last summer). Pretty and comfortable although the print and style would be better suited to a spring wedding than a Christmas meal...Also got a yellow and grey stripe merino scarf (for my husband though it's in women's section)and a black cashmere cardi. Sent back the cashmere tunic in mole/blue - loved the colours and neckline but I just don't ever seem to look good enough in a tunic to justify the price!

Yay, delivery arrived and I love the dress and shirt I got. v. happy birthday to me for tomorrow!!

Oooh I ordered that dress too in the purplish colourway. Apparently was dispatched on Fri but no sign yet, the South Coast is obviously harder to get to than the Highlands!

some things have hardly sold, you;'d think they wouldve reduced it abit more. It looks very nice!

A very nice young man rang me on Saturday to say that they had refunded one delivery charge as I had made 2 orders on the same day.
I got one delivery today and no sign of the other
All jeans and cords for DDs and a gorgeous baby blanket for a girly baby that turned out to be a little boy on the day I ordered it. Too lovely to send back maybe.

Gotta love their customer services for that alone.

Yes! I only orderd 6 items from mini Boden and got it all!
Even more impressed with the very fast delivery.
Orderd 5pmish Thursday and it arrived Monday lunchtime.

I ordered Fri morning and last night as I lay in the bath DS shouted that there was a huge Boden parcel for me !
Love the Nottinghill Dresses-particularily the smoke colourway.
Its stunning and I am really surprised this is in the sale.I had quick look in my Winter catalogue to see what sort of cardigan they put it with and couldnt find it maybe thats why .
I also ordered the greenfloral which is more summery.Both are lined and much more substantial than I thought.
All the other stuff is for DCs but they dont know yet

what are you going to wear with that dress? I ordered it too but it hasnt come yet. What size did you get?

Fastest delivery ever! I ordered a couple of tops for DD2. One I ordered a while ago for DD1 and we both loved it. It has been worn to death so thought DD2 would like one. Also ordered some footless tights for both DDs. I then made a second order for a hat and mittens for DD1 for christmas but no one has phoned to only charge me for one delivery!

Have not received the second order yet though!

I got a size 12L- quite roomy it skims my lumpy bits - am 5 9 and its just on the knee.
have got a lovely soft grey cardi ,black tights and heels.
Am thinking about one of those flat chunky necklaces to go with it .
What are they called???

Thank you Boden, could not believe my order made online last Thurs arrived yesterday - and I live in Ireland! Fastest delivery yet! Delighted with my straight leg jeans, an amazing cut and fit, and multiple tops for DD and DS, superb quality in particular in the kiddies clothes!

Meanwhile the search for the elegant velvet jacket continues..

Houndstooth in gold, denim mini and grape stripy cardi for me :-). Dress and tops for the girls and jacket for hubby. Still awaiting navy and pink patent boots. Will then have to pick....!
