Boden Sale-did you get what you wanted?

Morning All.
I have been quite sensible and bought the kids some things for next year.
I hadn't noticed this top before,so going to give it a go. Also trying the cropped wool trousers and the flared jeans.
I quite fancied the boiled wool coat but was gone in my size.
Hope it comes before Christmas!
So what did you buy and did you get that one thing you were hoping for?

Q for experienced Boden shoppers: I just ordered for the first time, they gave a 2 week delivery timeline due to the sale but it may come earlier, does it usually take as long as they say as I'd love my dress for next weekend?! Am in London, thought they were based in Acton? thank you

lizzylu - I think the warehouse is in Leicester (although their head office is in Acton) but it usually comes well before 2 weeks. All the stuff I ordered last night was despatched by this morning and should arrive on Monday, even though they said it could take a couple of weeks.

Tracey re cash wrap - me too! Since I want a size 16 and you presumably want about a size 6 however, we are not likely to be competing. I promise to post if I see a petite one when browsing!

I got the Johnnie B oatmeal hat and gloves for half price for myself... And that was it! TBH, I would have been buying for the sake of it if I bought anything else.

Good news however, my boyfriend cardigan finally turned up today after a HUGE wait

I am now turning my attention to spring fashions.

what was the bf cardigan like? Im not sure I like that rose colour that is left.

I wanted pj's and slippers but not a chance.

I got the knitted jumper dress for niece in pink as she was over the moon with the grey one. If you have a nine year old I would recommend it. I got two pairs of skinny jeans from mini Boden which Im expecting to go back and the reversal gillet which will be a keeper and the pet long sleeved tshirt which I know is always lovely and thick, not sure about the lamb on the front though [hmmm]

Infact, I will be happy if not all my order is in stock. There is something about shopping for the sake of it that just isnt right!!

I got the skinny jeans as they're about the same as H&M prices (some of them),hooded velour dresses and a couple of scarves for gifts.
Nothing for me as I didn't really see anything at all.

any ideas if there are any free postage options

You always pay p&p on sale stuff I'm afraid but can normally do free returns if you've kept them from past orders

i have got the silver messenger bag for the holiday we are off on.
has anyone had it?

For those of you wanting the denim mini - keep an eye out if you are an 8 or 10 as I will be returning one or t'other once I receive my order :). I also received despatch notice today so hopefully will be here very soon.

I have the Messenger bag -its pewter thought not silver. Its small but am very pleased with it as I have lots of big bags already and needed something for serious shopping days -when I dont want to lug a big bag -just need my purse and a lippie!

Oh Have just had an email to say my order has been dispatched-very fast.I think that they are aware people want stuff for christmas and are getting it out fast.

I placed two orders on the Thurs but only the smaller second order has been dispatched.

how much can you fit in?

I saw a couple of children's tops that were reduced from £10 to £12.
Needless to say, I didn't get them!

Mobile, purse, lippie and keys. It is small but its perfect for days when you dont want to lug a big bag around.
I also like the fact that the buckle,buckles not a magnet type.Feel its a bit safer if you are in crowds etc.Although some people werent so keen on that in the reviews.

OMG - cant believe that the sale items which I ordered at about 5.30 on Thursday arrived this morning (Sat) complete with the biscuiteers book!! I am so well pleased.

kittya - the bf cardi is good but am glad I sized down as is very very generous. I got the charcoal.

Apparently sale order has been dispatched so hope it arrives by the weekend as am off to Bruges on Monday and it will come in handy!
