glass of wine and am back having mostly caught up I think (eyes may have glazed over at various points on thread
) )
bunny sorry for unnecessary stress over dd3's weight, not what you need. Sounds like you are coping amazingly though so keep us posted
Fritzi sorry about your dd's behaviour and its effect on you - for what it's worth, I think we all have days like that. My dd was quite challenging earlier this year and I had to remind myself that she was only doing what I often felt like doing, but wasn't yet emotionally equipped to regulate her own behaviour by drinking wine and coffee. I try to remind myself that they are people, not just children, with emotions that they need to express but can't necessarily manage effectively. Hugs to you and her.
carciofi hope today went well!
happily poor you, I would be going spare Hope she is home for big cuddles soon.
tracey I take Floradix, highly recommend. Also acupuncture, which I swear keeps me strong. Have fun tonight, no doubt in my mind you looked the bomb!
bloss how is it going??!!
had to dig my car out this morning (and without thinking threw shovel in car, leaving dh's van snowed in, ooops) and feet were frozen in Belstaffs (wearing with charcoal DKNY l/s sack shift with exposed zips, over magenta cashmere sweater and black Falkes) and have still had no post so could not risk the online ordering thing and just had to love with what local shops had in my size - namely these in black They are not pretty but by jingo they are warm, non-slippy and waterproof.
And I am so in love with my NF arctic parka atm, MM is yours here yet?
Agree with esherdaddy that london roads deserted, a joy to drive! Except my high altitude 'hood which is just plain inconvenient!
ps Roma have also not bought or even thought about any Xmas pressies yet. Have done mucho craft with dc though
