Oh my God, I choked (try and hum along to We Three Kings...)!! But here is the new thread.

OP posts:
LetThemEatCake · 25/11/2010 12:14

Gah, what is this crazy new format??
Hope everyone is warm and well.

I am so over Dukan. Hate the fact that one of my fave foods (Greek yoghurt) has now become an 'oh alright then, hmph' thing to eat.

Thinking of bunny, love to zembo and deep breaths to anyone feeling under the kosh

About to pick up ds1 and hang at library for the afternoon before going back for dd at 3... Fragmented days, annoying!

Ps found out one of the mums is wearing jeans on sat night. Why?? Why??!

Yes I have oushka bag... No longer have the Phoenix one but have a grey suede Oakley. Same as hells, natch (or should that be match?) Grin

traceybath · 25/11/2010 12:18

I am so pro-crastinating today. Really need to get on with doing rotas/signs for christmas fayre and instead have made soup and am cleaning out my fridge!!

Oh and am now ordering sheepskin insoles for the whole family as stocking fillers for xmas so thank you Verity Grin

Hells - agree some nice N Peal and Crumpet stuff on outnet today.

Jeans, heels and a nice top is the mn going out uniform ltec - you know that Wink

DTI10 · 25/11/2010 12:20

House of Fraser has two day event - 20 - 40% off, online and instore!

Keep nosing in to see news of twins!

monkeysmama · 25/11/2010 12:30

I can't stop checking in to see what's happening with the little bunnies! Grin

VerityBrulee · 25/11/2010 12:30

Happy to hear the Bath family will have toasty toes this Christmas Smile

Fritzi Bunny's CS delayed as she had to take steroids 24 hrs before the delivery to help mature the babies lungs. Hospital forgot to inform her which must have been frustrating to say the least.

OWW lots of starry scarves in Zara here, let me know if you can't get one, I can pop one in the post.

I am wearing multiple layers of cashmere, and charcoal thermal tights from M&S kids dept, age 13-14! I'm supposed to be working on college project but just not in the mood.

Bonsoir · 25/11/2010 12:36

LOL at über-SAHM traceybath for whom soup-making and fridge-cleaning count as procrastination Wink

Bonsoir · 25/11/2010 12:39

Fritzi - is there no online supermarket in Germany?

In France there are several, but Monoprix wasn't among them (it used to be aligned with telemarket.fr and then stopped). But Monoprix has recently got its act together and I spent a long time this morning setting up my first order (I have been a faithful user of the much more downmarket houra.fr for years). Delivery this evening.

Bonsoir · 25/11/2010 12:42

Verity - yes, that Dino & Lucia wardrobe is to die for but EUR 350 is just quite beyond the pale for six dolls outfits Shock. I managed to do some fun things with DD's twin Les Chéries dolls' hair yesterday though. I am quite keen on getting her to dress her dolls' hair as I think it is time she learned to do her own hair a bit better.

Romanarama · 25/11/2010 12:58

No decent online shopping that i can find in bxl. I have tried, but have found the sites awful, not everything comes, and what does is already at the expiry date. Totally annoying. I would love ocado over here - maybe I should double check they don't, actually.

LetThemEatCake · 25/11/2010 13:01

What kind of soup Tracey? yum

Hmph well sorry but if I can accept that tibi maxi is inappropriate for dinner dance then I think Lentilmummy should accept that jeans are a no go too

(she's the one who always shouts at her dd and says that I make her glad to only have one, remember her?)

Romanarama · 25/11/2010 13:03

omg you are spending Saturday evening with her Shock

eshermummy · 25/11/2010 13:03

Hi all, just running in quickly to ask if there has been any news from Bunny? I wasn't around yesterday and haven't caught up on thread yet (going to do that now yaaay) but can't see any news on FB.
Have we heard anything?

hellsbelles · 25/11/2010 13:04

The Surveyors are STILL here Hmm...and I need to go to the loo...similar dilemma to Roma Grin

Fritzi ? They forgot to give Bunny her steroid injections (given to help develop babies lungs that are pre-term)?

LTEC ? oh dear I thought we had you as a Dukaner for good. You are in the most boring bit now?where it sort of stagnates and the options of eating aren?t much fun ? it does get easier I promise! I?m doing a protein day today so a little tiny bit pissed off too.

Tracey ? your style of procrastinating is my version of hard work Grin ? fancy procrastinating here one day?

DD?s new Corolle doll awaits her at Christmas but today she loved brushing her very stylish ?Cheryl? doll. A 30 year old nylon haired monstrosity that she inherited from her Auntie. She looks freakily like Cheryl Cole (hence the moniker). I love hearing DD?s tinker bell voice saying ?Cherryllll??it causes me more laughs than it should

I should be in A&W Coventry today. I have dug out some very very old uggs?the worst sort (all worn down on one bit of the heel Grin however top half is ok with coated gap skinnies and grey cable jumper thingy. I have attempted also to redeem the out combo with a rather nice red scarf?but I fear the eye is still drawn to my feet.

Romanarama · 25/11/2010 13:08

Now I just want to go back to the work theme for a mo, and sing the praises of working from home, which I highly recommend for practical reasons and general well-being. Today I have had 3 conference calls. In the first I took car 2 to the garage to change the tyres, and walked dog on way home. In the second I chopped vegetables for the slow cooker and put on to cook with a loin of pork and lots of herbs - dinner done. In the 3rd I walked dog again to garage and picked up the car. I'm having another in a mo, during which I'll mn clear my outlook inbox. I couldn't do any of those things if I was in the office, not to mention the 2 hours commuting time wasted.

In terms of wellbeing, I get my study with red leather sofa to work in, can eat nice food, don't have to deal with colleagues I don't like, don't have to look at other people's dirty mugs and plates etc all over the place.

MarshaBrady · 25/11/2010 13:12

Dolls! Roma and I must be the only doll-free house! (so far... never say never etcetc)

Ds' friend here tonight. Making dinner already so don't have to rush around and check on Lego sharing etc

hells what are you getting done to your house?

MarshaBrady · 25/11/2010 13:14

Oh yes I wangled an entire freelance project from home on higher day-rate. Was lovely.

Bonsoir · 25/11/2010 13:15

My sister hasn't managed to find satisfactory online shopping in the Netherlands either.

Ocado is fab, but French online shopping is getting much better faster.

LetThemEatCake · 25/11/2010 13:17

No no hells am still with you. Just bored of fish etc. Woukd be easier if I ate other flesh but hey ho

Also big fan of working from home

Yep Roma.. Not on same table though Wink

LetThemEatCake · 25/11/2010 13:18

No dolls in my house btw despite having a dd

hellsbelles · 25/11/2010 13:22

Just got 25% discount link to dresses from phase 8 - here not sure if it'll work but posting in case!

Marsha - we have a 'side return' - basically empty useless space which is outside our tiny little kitchen...so we are hoping to extend our kitchen into it and make it less tiny (but still not big...just decent). Other grand plans are possibly converting DD's room into an ensuite and tiny dressing area for us (though it looks as though there just won't be enough space). And converting the current big bathroom into a bedroom for DD. I suspect that we will end up just doing the kitchen though.

blossoming · 25/11/2010 13:26

roma I shall be most annoyed if Ocado deliver to Belgium but not to me!!

I have bought these. Can't wait to be toasty in all the forecasted snow this weekend.

notyummy · 25/11/2010 13:33

Ha. ha - Blossoming - that is EXACTLY what I was to going to post ref Ocado. I would be Angry if they covered the continent and not Lincs Grin. Every few months I put my postcode in hopefully to see if they have started to delivering here....but no. Back to Tesco (and occasionally Sainsburys) for food deliveries.

hellsbelles · 25/11/2010 13:33

That link has both Janice dresses on it by the way at 25% discount

very snuggly bloss! you will be warm as toast!

ReineDeSaba · 25/11/2010 13:36

Roma check out your multitasking.that would drive me to the office to avoid the extra jobs Grin

tracey I always think of your homemade pizzas..the dedication!I'm sure you do a mean soup!

I've got bunnyfever like everyone else...very restless.

Oh yes we have dolls(muttering darkly),2dds here, but have avoided 350 EUROS for outfits as yet.

ltec can't believe you braved AIBU.good on you.people tell me all the time my girls are gorgeous..and look nothing like me Grin A shop assistant stopped me for a chat when I had dd2 in sling and very suprised I was not the nanny.ah well.

yangy please cut yourself some slack.lots of things are going on.it's early days..a new baby is going to dismantle your life(in a beautiful way Smile ) you just need time to work out your new life with 2(as mum of cruising 8 month old I feel your pain..oh for a newborn who stays still!)My dd1 and I do far fewer 'projects' as on mn have to watch baby but the love is there Smile

MM the guy at the P.O did indeed give me the evil eye for my..8!..parcels to return(think he didn't approve of my pramloading!) so popped into chemist next door for 5mins to have a mooch and managed to spend £20 Blush

Happy Thanksgiving all Smile

notyummy · 25/11/2010 13:36

Ladies, have just been round the shops buying presents, but was strong and didn't venture in a single clothes shop.

I can report that Zara's wondows looked great and I would have at least tried nearly everything there. Kew, on the other hand, looked like Mrs Frumpy from Frumpsville had arrived, dressed their windows and left sniggering. Not good.
