I don't know you Vin but Bonsoir did make Paris sound rather fabulous! I am going to be looking for boots tomorrow so may lay some suggestions in front of you all as you know what you re talking about.
Bonsoir, I am interested in the things your primary school teacher wears. perhaps you should provide a daily description Grin

evening

quick sprint into town tonight bore fruit of the swallow print blouse variety and, since WH were doing 20% off, I thought , what the hey, and bought the grey leopard too Am not 100% about it but will have a play around tomorrow and see. Both will likely work with the Gap grey cords which annoyingly were not in store.

Had a lovely mooch in Cos and tried on but did not buy. Likewise Topshop where I indulged in some shameless changeroom prancing in leather look leggings and oversized gold lurex sweaters. Tried on tracey's feather skirt which I love. No joy on the l/s Bretons though, red and fritzi Sad

Annoyed that Uniqlo shut at 8.30 so was unable to stock up on heat tech.

Now must settle down to work and hopefully hit 1am bedtime. So forgive me for me me post. Aiming for brevity! (not WIT - although saw the navy top in TS hells ... nice)

Zembo · 19/11/2010 05:57

Morning ladies. Haven't caught up.

Cake interesting what you say re: grey leopard scarf - I tried it but the colour didn't suit me at all (thought it had greeny tones rather than grey?) Really love the brown one though.

On a different note, and hope you don't mind me posting this here, I'm bleeding (not spotting, it's like a period) and have dull stomach ache Sad I've never had anything like this in my previous pregnancies; I should be 8 weeks pregnant tomorrow. Will obviously be seeking advice today. Please pray for me, I'm feeling very scared. Will keep you posted since you lot are about the only ones who know anyway!

Zembo- you are in my thoughts. I really hope it is something benign like the placenta just being disturbed (I experienced this and it was v scary.)

Another un- mn hug.

traceybath · 19/11/2010 07:08

Zembo thinking of you and hope you get seen swiftly at the Early Pregnancy clinic and all is ok.

reallygrumpy · 19/11/2010 07:10

zembo hope it's all ok, a friend of mine had alot of bleeding in early pregnancy and went on to have a happy healthy DD. Take care

Zembo · 19/11/2010 07:22

Thank you ladies, I'm almost certain I've lost the baby (have the evidence in a cup and DH who's medical agrees) sorry for TMI. Feeling devastated, tearful etc... will try and get hold of midwife asap. Sorry for the bad news first thing in the morning. Better get on and get my DC ready, poor things are confused seeing me upset.

reallygrumpy · 19/11/2010 07:31

Oh zembo I'm so sorry, I had a mmc in the summer and it's heartbreaking, do be kind to yourself and take easy if you can. I was v weepy for a while afterwards which I think was partly due to hormones

mrsjuan · 19/11/2010 07:33

Oh zembo I'm so so sorry. I don't know what to say - you must be devastated Sad. Please be kind to yourself. We are all here for you. Sad

Thanks again for all your kindness, it means a lot. I'm seeing the GP this morning and have decided to give swimming with my DS a miss today.

I don't want my news to kill this lovely thread, please post some lighthearded clothing related chat, will be a fab distraction for me too. So many of you have been through so much more, I'm looking at my two beautiful DC through different eyes this morning; I am very lucky indeed.

hellsbelles · 19/11/2010 09:07

Zembo - sweet one. I'm so so sorry. It could be just a bad bleed. It does happen. Sending you lots of love and strength to get through this.

hf128219 · 19/11/2010 09:11

Oh Zembo, so sorry for you. Take great care and as Hells said it might just be a very bad bleed.

Thinking of you X
