Sorry to hear about your dd dolcee. Hope things improve soon.
Glad to hear your family were better behaved this time ollie.

I wonder what an avid and wise Christmas party would be like. Where would we have it? What would you wear? (Complete fantasy obviously!)

From another bigfoot, I love pointy shoes too.

I'm considering that sequin dress in a smaller size. I do like it with my pointy Jimmy Choos.
Is there 20% off today, but not on sale stock I'd imagine. I wonder if there's a 10 in the Janice left.
yangy, the jacket is Zara.

bloss

there is a 10 in Navy in Phase 8 Liverpool Street, London. You could ring up for mail order or I can go on way home tonight?

pickledsiblings · 12/11/2010 16:26

LTEC - great hair! Blouse looks lovely and would work with a skirt too.

DTI10 - way to go with the letter. It's just not on. I hope they sort something out for you (red coat plus free leopard print blouse thrown in).

Zembo · 12/11/2010 16:32

Cake you are the original pussycat doll - looking good Grin, again I can see no evidence of pear shape, as bloss says you suit skinny jeans.

Bloss lovely dress. As I was doing the school run, was thinking I want a bit of colour, but could be tempted by 'your' dress. this is one I LOVE, esp the colour (MUST be one of my wow colours), but sold out in my size straight away.

traceybath · 12/11/2010 16:40

Bloss you are gorgeous! And what everyone else said about the dresses.

LTEC - oooh I love that look and will be copying forthwith.

Ladies I've been a little naughty and ordered this And its lovely - uber flattering and quite WOW I think. MM and Yangy I think its just your thing and Hells too. In fact Bloss I think it would look fab on you but not sure if its your colour or not. And LTEC you would also look marvellous in it but then you would look fab in a bin bag as my mother would say.

So thats my christmas party outfit sorted.

DT - I would be so furious if I were you.

hf128219 · 12/11/2010 16:41

LTEC Great hair! Love it, you look fab u lous.

I have the stripey Janice! 20% off in store. Tried on the sequin jacket - I don't like the fact you can't do it up. I know I could put a hook in but that's not the point!

Bloss You defo need to size down. Love the Janice on you. Green one good colour. Bec of course is the best!

Off to a Black Tie do tomorrow night in London. Just going to wear a Black Jigsaw Maxi, velvet stole I bought in Essaoiura and some silk Gucci floral heels. Nice and simple.

thanks all. tracey, that product looks great and I will be buying at only £44 - beats constant trips to hairdresser!!

re skinny jeans - they are actually some skinny black trousers in the pic - by Rutzou, got them for £30 in the Questionair sale. They have this fab military button detail up outside of each leg from ankle to mid-calf, black covered buttons so quite subtle but nice little design feature Wink

tracey that dress is fabulous. I will have to content myself with the 2x Janice, Poor man's VWA Grin

can we have a Janice headcount please??!!

hf have a lovely night, gorgeous ensemble!

blossoming · 12/11/2010 17:05

Thanks dt, but they've got all sizes left. Have ordered.

dexter73 · 12/11/2010 17:21

No Janice here, only a Tammy but have ordered Nadine.

blossoming · 12/11/2010 17:31

Glad you got the janice hf, and pleased you liked the bec!
I like the look of the janice so much under the jacket and I know it will be a great addition for my wardrobe. Can't believe I'm ordering a 10. I've never been a 10 in my life. Well I could have been back in late 80's early 90's but who knows. I used to wear men's clothes all the time! Vanity sizing gone mad!
Like the sound of your outfit for tomorrow.

Anyone remember Pete's Dragon?? Am watching at the mo with DD. Tis fab Grin.

reallygrumpy · 12/11/2010 17:45

Hello, I've just been lurking recently because I've been so busy with house stuff. I am now v bored of looking at porcelain tiles and having endless debates with DH about which shade of grey we should pick and our builder now can't start until jan but we don't want to pay the extra VAT so we're going to buy everything in dec and then have a spare room full of bathroom bits for weeks. Ho hum

Anyway, Cake you look amazing in your pic, love the hair and outfit. I have to fess up to being a total sheep and buying the navy janice but now I'm a bit worried about its see throughness after reading another thread so may have to invest in something to wear under it. My only recent purchases have been this in navy stripe and Some indigo always skinny jeans which I can't see on the website both bought with 30% discount voucher. Not very exciting but useful and I needednew jeans cos I've lost half a stone (yay) thanks to cutting down on carbs and sugar and being v stressed about work, i've been working 10plus hour days plus working at weekends which hasn't been much fun.

MM I think you were after a padded coat? I've got 2 of the uniqlo ones and really like them, good quality for the price.

mrsjuan · 12/11/2010 17:46

Bloss, you look gorgeous in all but esp, like feathers and the one below - is that the famous bec? Like your styling of stripey Janice. You def need to size down Smile

Cake - fantastic hair & looking amazing in outfit.

Yangy - think you will need a gap size 2 at most. I have 4s and they are most certainly not uk 8s.

Right, have acquired charcoal tights - off to try on with dress. If it doesn't look right you will find me frantically sobbing into my wardrobe Grin

blossoming · 12/11/2010 18:00

Hope it works mrsj, and yes the one below feathers is the bec.

Bed is beautiful bloss.
Not happy with dress now. Too blocky round middle. Agghhhhh. Back to the drawing board.

dexter73 · 12/11/2010 18:12

Am very tempted by your feathers dress blossoming. It is only £38 in John Lewis at the moment.

hf128219 · 12/11/2010 18:13

Tracey Fab dress. Love the colour.

Meant to say before you think I've been dragging a poorly dd round the shops she is fine!

I had a really important course I had to go on yesterday. Managed to get someone to come round early in the morning so I could get there on time. Bla bla bla - cue a phone call from nursery at 14.10 to say she had been sick everywhere - had to make excuses and leave course (thank heavens I have a lovely, lovely boss). Mad dash home but of course 48 hour exclusion from nursery.

She is as right as rain now and we have had a lovely day - shopping, lunch out etc Smile

mrsjuan · 12/11/2010 18:15

Bec of course - although your bed is almost certainly beautiful too.

Have got an idea that might work, back in a bit.

GeorginaWorsley · 12/11/2010 18:18

Just seen the Phase Eight discount today!!
Am tempted by

www.phase-eight.co.uk/fcp/product/warehouse/Dresses/Jessie-Dress/201076732as an xmas dress and I8 still can't decide about the JaniceGrin

reallygrumpy · 12/11/2010 18:24

Oh and I still can't find a red coat, I'm tempted to order this with 20% discount bit I'm just not sure about double breasted

reallygrumpy · 12/11/2010 18:25

But not bit... Still not very good at typing on my iPhone

mrsjuan · 12/11/2010 18:27

Ok - lace dress & asos dress (the one astar.. suggested & then vanished Grin ) photos on profile for your judging perusal until I've had a shower & done hair. If I haven't decided by that time I'm wearing skinny jeans & beaded top Grin

notyummy · 12/11/2010 18:36

MrsJ - I prefer the first pic - I think it is because the belt helps show off your figure (I am coming over all Gok !!)

reallygrumpy · 12/11/2010 18:39

mrsj I agree with notyummy, definitely prefer the first one.
