Sorry to hear about your dd dolcee. Hope things improve soon.
Glad to hear your family were better behaved this time ollie.

I wonder what an avid and wise Christmas party would be like. Where would we have it? What would you wear? (Complete fantasy obviously!)

PlumSykes · 16/11/2010 10:43

Oooh, pretty!

DolceeBanana · 16/11/2010 10:47

Oo, on a completely different note...Christmas wine.....in Country Living Averys have an offer where if you buy one case on wine at £98.88 you receive a second one, worth £76, free... order here

I thought it sounded very good....

AllBuggiedOut · 16/11/2010 11:09

Lovely blouse plum

Thanks for the blanket links - parents' sofa is checked (don't ask...) so although I love the brora lambswool, I'm not sure about more checks. LA don't seem to have any in wool, but thanks LTEC. And marsha lovely site - how fab is this?!

MarshaBrady · 16/11/2010 11:12

That's gorgeous ABO.

There are so many lovely things I would love the sheep or lamb rocking thing for ds2.

MarshaBrady · 16/11/2010 11:13

I'm going to get your link for ds1, he would love that!

AllBuggiedOut · 16/11/2010 11:24

I may also get this for DH; in our fantasy life we have land and keep llamas Smile.

PlumSykes · 16/11/2010 11:35

ABO, I adore the blankets etc from Melin Tregwynt. Lots of patterns that would be too hectic with the check, but the broad stripe, tweed or pebble might work.

PlumSykes · 16/11/2010 11:39

DT, I have a fancy for this Zara leopard. Is not v warm, so def. a 'going-out coat' rather than a proper winter warmer, but v chic. Colour suited me too, which is unusual as I usually look like the undead in leopard prints-case in point, the Warehouse scarf, which I really liked, but gave me the palour of the recently exhumed.

MarshaBrady · 16/11/2010 11:40

Aw that's lovely ABO, and very apt!

here is my favourite lamb.

And I like this bear mirror

And these robots for children

It is true that my children have slowly been acquiring my taste, I love it as much as they do Grin

traceybath · 16/11/2010 11:47

Lovely present ideas Smile

So there's going to be a royal wedding next year then.

MarshaBrady · 16/11/2010 11:49

Cripes really. Wow

notyummy · 16/11/2010 11:53

Well, there are few bunting fans on this thread....so they can get it out Grin

Lovely present links all. Am feeling slightly smug - wrapped all DDs last night. It's really only because December is shaping up to utterly balmy in terms of how busy we will be. Finsihed all the cards too.

Will wrap DHs stuff at some point this week.

Wearing grey Oliver Bonas dress today (the same bargain one Zembo has!) It is v cold her in Lincs and Notts - but am wearing with v thick lace tights and Desigual coat, plus black highheeled lace up brogues.

AllBuggiedOut · 16/11/2010 11:54

I used to have this one plum Smile but destroyed it by putting in the washing machine Blush

Gorgeous lamb marsha! Have you ordered from them before? Estimated delivery times are quite slow.

AllBuggiedOut · 16/11/2010 11:56

Outfit sounds fab notyummy - where are your tights from? I feel the need...

MarshaBrady · 16/11/2010 11:59

Hmm I don't think I've ordered. I have bought from their showroom in River st, ec1.

Actually now I remember we had to get an Asplund set of drawers quickly for ds2 and there was no way we wanted to wait the 6 to 8 weeks so bought from Skandium.

It's a bit of a pain, maybe worth a call to see what they say re delivery time.

notyummy · 16/11/2010 12:00

I have these ABO - so not really lace, tbh...more ribbed. But actually quite flattering on, and v toasty!

MarshaBrady · 16/11/2010 12:02

Outfit does sound lovely NY. Still looking after ds2, who is sleeping a lot, I think it should help.

OllieWollieWoo · 16/11/2010 12:03

Just seen that news Tracey - how nice for them. I never know what to make of KM - style or personality wise! Think she has had to put up with a lot from the media tho. I got totally caught up in the whole Diana mania when she got engaged - me and my sisters all went and got Diana haircuts and I made a huge scrapbook of pics of her and the weddding! Happy days! You'll all get an extra bank holiday next year won't you?!

blossoming · 16/11/2010 12:21

Yes, and they're going to live in a 'cottage' in North Wales. Where all the best people live. Wink.

OP posts:
traceybath · 16/11/2010 12:24

You could have them round for 'kitchen-sups' Bloss Wink

AllBuggiedOut · 16/11/2010 12:26

Now, what would you wear if you were invited?!

blossoming · 16/11/2010 12:36

Mmm, traceyb, I could give her a makeover, starting with her hair!
We need a new thread. Already!

OP posts:
FritziGreenEyes · 16/11/2010 12:37

My lunchbreak is too short to catch up with you lot, but I love coming on here and reading about what everybody's been up to.

cake I love the fact that the 7FAMs have found yet another home. As they were too big on me I was wondering how on earth you would wear them anyway Grin. GAP cords are great!

roma Thanks for info re beds. 150 definetely too small for us. We have 180 now and I'd rather have 200 Blush.

FritziGreenEyes · 16/11/2010 13:00

abo Hope DS will be better soon!

marsha Thanks for linking to twentytwentyone website. Have bookmarked and will browse tonight. The sheep is great!

bloss Don't bother with HoC. Set up on your own!

carciofi · 16/11/2010 13:04

Ollie, haven't bought the bag yet but sent the link to DH as he said he would buy me a bag for Christmas. Zembo, it is the time to invest in bags!

Verity, I keep checking the Irish Times to see if the govt are going to accept the bail-out.

Lovely coat, Plum.
