I don't care how much it costs, I can't live without...

My Lancome Bifacil eye makeup remover. So gentle, takes off every last trace of my waterproof mascara. I've been without it for a week as was unable to get to the shops, but one arrived yesterday courtesy of JL online. Phew!
What's yours?

Another vote for Giorgio Armani foundation. It is truly incredible

I've just discovered Moroccan Oil. I don't know how I ever managed without it.

Maryqueenofchocs · 08/11/2010 16:22

Morrocan hair oil. Makes a miracle of my hair every wash. Lovely stuff.

muggglewump · 08/11/2010 16:31

I don't spend much at a time on anything, but:
Tweezermans.
New nail polish, because none last anyway.
Nail buffers.
Mascara.

More the stuff that doesn't last regardless of how much it is.
I can't afford the dear stuff in the first place but I'm willing to spend time on home manicures/epilating/exfoliating/hair dying, rather than spend £££ I don't have in a salon.

I do think this needs time though. A quick swipe with a poundland exfoliator glove and a two minute eyebrow pluck once a week won't work at all.

this moroccan hair oil malarkey....have extremely thick straight hair that needs serious taming to stop me looking like I am a triangle head, would you recommend it or is it a curly hair thing? Will it give me swishy glossy youthful hair not triangular witch thatch?

thank you

whensitgunnahappen · 08/11/2010 17:12

Clarins anti aeu oil, sculpting body cream and high def cream, it will make you look like you've lost weight! Genius! My make-up bag (again, all clarins) and my I phone.

sue52 · 08/11/2010 17:30

Hatcam I have very thick curly hair which tends to frizz in damp weather. Moroccan oil tames it and gives it a wonderful healthy glow. DD uses it on her thick straight hair and ot looks super shiney. You only need a few drops so it lasts for ages.

Maryqueenofchocs · 08/11/2010 17:41

hatcam you sound like the perfect candidate, it will def make your hair glossy and swooshy - buy a sample pot on ebay and see what you think..Grin

CazandBelle · 08/11/2010 17:46

Having my nails done regularly!

hatcam · 08/11/2010 17:46

bamboobutton · 08/11/2010 18:01

i shouldn't read these kinds of threads.
i always end up spending a fortune on stuff i had never heard of before but suddenly need to have after reading about it on here.

Bucharest · 08/11/2010 18:08

Oh God.
It's mentionitis for sure with this By Terry stuff.
I am going to end up buying some just to see.

Argh..perhaps I could buy my Mum some for Christmas then I wouldn't feel so guilty.

Where does one purchase this life enhancing gloop then? (and I still think it sounds like Barry M...I know yer woman worked for Dior and is veh veh posh, but she needs a better name)

blossoming · 08/11/2010 21:11

Wow, you lot are really make up/ beauty junkies!

I don't really use anything v expensive by comparison to most but do need:

-my tweezers (have dark, thick eyebrows)
-a six weekly colour/ highlight (as have a few white hairs)
-I think blusher would have to be my other essential as I always feel deathly pale without!

However, as bucharest says, I am building up a Christmas list as a result of reading this thread :)

polyhymnia · 08/11/2010 23:11

Bucharest - the answer to your question is Space NK.

polyhymnia · 08/11/2010 23:12

PS You can get it online but much better to play with/ try it first, particularly given the price!

IWouldNotCouldNotWithAGoat · 09/11/2010 10:22

please tell me more about Moroccan Hair Oil!

Maryqueenofchocs · 09/11/2010 13:35

Lovely moroccan hair oil will make the frizz vanish and your locks luscious. Have been using for over a year, 100ml bottle £25 ish, but you only use 5p size at a time so it lasts forever.

Put on damp hair, work through and your hair is more manageable and glossy. Try and get a sample pot on ebay and see if you like it..Grin

IWouldNotCouldNotWithAGoat · 09/11/2010 14:40

Oo-er!

To Ebay!

Minione · 09/11/2010 15:00

Love benefit products - current favourite is their '10' blusher - a highlighter and bronzer in one.

And my hair straightner = i have got through pair after pair over the past 17 years.
