Fleecy that is fabulous.

Hells love your outfit.

Good to have stuff to wear, even if a few years old (that would be my wardrobe!) Stuff must be worn or else.

Bunny sorry I am slow and juggling bambino iPhone. They live in Melbourne. You are right about the sun, lethal. When will you go back next do you think?

Bloss you are very wise re your life and dh/ house etc. Good way to be.

Ltec can understand it would be hard. Take care on/ near the day.

And forgotten rest of posts sorry, hang on baby waking.

Marsha - not sure when I will go back Sad. We had booked our flights before we found out about twins, and Dr said "don't fly", so was meant to have just been. DH and I were discussing, and we can't see us going back until we eventually move back Sad Sad Sad. I think that's the reality of 3 DCs so close together in age - 5 flights is too much £££. We are more likely to holiday in UK/Europe. We have been here for 3.5 years and haven't been back, and will prob be here for at least that long again. I do love it here, its just sad feeling that you can't go home. Ah, so they are in elegant, vibrant, cultured Melbourne?! Wonderful city, isn't it?! Think you will enjoy your visit.

Clothes dilemmas ladies.

Think I am wearing maxi (quelle surprise etc etc...) plus wedge boots. Will be a giantess btw.

Can't decide on coat. Two options; one belted trench that looks slightly wrong with proportions, but would probably mean I don't sweat to death in tube etc. One full length winter coat that I think looks more elegant with the dress, but will I be hot in it?

I will probably suffer for fashion sweeties.. (not that it is fashionable....River Island circa year 2000 I think. But black never dates eh?!)

Hmm, I don't have leather or aviator jackets (mainly due to aviator husband who has original articles poking fun at me for copying...)

The only short jackets I have are in colours that look V strange with the maxi print.

Will have a think about layering options - think it will be either layers or long coat tbh.

Go full length! Or do you have a plain gilet and scarf you could wear for a bit of extra warmth?

Cross posts there yangy but excellent advice Grin

Am still in bed. Have napped and nearly finished my work - wine chilling in the fridge. Life is good...

Have been inspired by the talk of red coats and the WIT blog was the final straw. Skint as I am with night out tonight/meet-up tomorrow/night out with clients next week I am now watching several on eBay. Fingers crossed!

I am also more than a little bit in love with these and wondering about getting them for Christmas. But had been planning VW pirate boots in the grey suede (which is more beige)

Which do you think would be better? Would get more wear from VW but the CLs would be more of a classic and would last longer as not worn out!

I heart your shoes too yangy

vinvinoveritas · 15/10/2010 16:15

Carciofi hope you're feeling brighter soon

well, today I have bought lots of books Hmm which will be out of date within 3 months, should have purchased AW10 boots instead. Argh

Also, exciting development: had eyebrows threaded for first time ever, wow, feel much better! Someone had a stall in the market and she was absolutely brilliant, should have done it years ago

bunnymother · 15/10/2010 16:16

Yangy - greetings fellow Antipodean. Agree that you don't HAVE to pay for seat until they are 2 years old, but once they get mobile 'tis a nightmare trying to contain them on your lap. Which means you have between 0-6 months to fly, else pay £££ for their seat. Won't be visiting in first 6 months, so will have to pay. My God I sound defeatist - yuck! Come on Rabbit, perk up!

Fleecy · 15/10/2010 16:17

Yes - cheer up bunny and think of the excellent company and delicious food tomorrow. Short-term pleasure and all that Grin

Fleecy · 15/10/2010 16:18

vin how's the study going?

bunnymother · 15/10/2010 16:18

Oh Fleecy - those CLs are just heaven - beautiful beautiful beautiful!!

blossoming · 15/10/2010 16:19

romanarama, I absolutely loved those BR trousers. I may have to pop in tomorrow. They will be perfect for my smart trouser shaped hole in my wardrobe!

ltec, that sounds very hard. A case of being strong and getting through it I'd imagine.

I will be wearing the outfit carciofi, (hope you're okay) and a few more of you chose for me last weekend, but I didn't end up wearing. I think it works although it may have a bit more bum on view than I would like! I shall get there early and sit with my back to the wall.
