Bunny ... Re AP knicks...think after a few weeks you would be okay, but check with MW...

I was horribly yellow after all 3 of my births...quite anaemic...although it all started so well hb at 13 at mid points each time...love those apricots! but all worth it in the end...I'm going to shut up because all those pg ladies do not want to remember such things...

My DH bought a huge limited edition Ferrari print ... about 100 Ferrari's through years, from an antique shop for our playroom. They all love it...and he loved that the dcs could say the name perfectly...

Oh go on Notyummy...if you get pregnant now they might still have to pay maternity leave (if not redundant before then of course)....worth it?

Well jbrands arrived and I'm going with the 30. Have bravely ripped labels off and wearing for school run! Any lurkers, originals in 32 soon to appear on eBay!

carciofi · 13/10/2010 15:56

I love J Brands!

Well, the Barbour is out of stock in black and I am not sure about the brown so I guess I'll save my pennies.

FritziGreenEyes · 13/10/2010 16:06

The Belstaffs arrived today! Will be stroking them until I can wear them tomorrow. Love the feel of new clothes/shoes for the new season.

Yay for JBrands blossoming!

That photo is so sweet everything. Thanks for sharing!

Loved your blog cake and congrats on successful Ebay sale of maternity choos. Thanks for recipe links. Have bookmarked.

Well done on bake sale ollie. Will steal your shortbread-in-jar-with-ribbon idea for Christmas Smile. Can you recommend a shortbread recipe please?

Hi katy. Not sure about the JB stripe jumper sorry. Would personally prefer other colours but they might suit you.

Fellow brogue wearers: How would you wear them with ankle length cigarette trousers once it is too cold to go barefoot? I'm not a fan of nude knee-highs under trousers but proper socks would probably strange too.

Does anyone know if Houlialikes are any good? Or are we done with cargo/military?

carciofi · 13/10/2010 19:35

Katy, I would kill my dh if he did that! Not crazy about the sweater, sorry.

Fritzi, I like those cargos. I don't think they are played out yet.

Romanarama · 13/10/2010 19:46

eie that's a lovely photo! Katy I think that jumper's horrible. Wish I could recommend another but haven't really seen any.

Fritzi I think those trousers will still be all over the place next year tbh. The Zara ones are nice.

FritziGreenEyes · 13/10/2010 20:58

I need a dress to wear to a concert at the end of November. Thought I might get something soon so I could wear it for our party in three two weeks time too. Don't want anything too formal but at least some va-va-voom.

What do you think about this? Would ideally love something that I can wear with boots/shoe boots when it is really cold outside.

Also love the colour of this although the draping might add too much bulk in hip area. I'm also not too keen on the belt.

Love Tibi sleeveless silk. Might be too short for me though. Difficult to say as there is no picture with model.

Malandrino with pattern.

Moschino C&C animal pattern

Malandrino black wool

D&G black belted

Good evening

Popping in quickly to say "ciao".

I've had a brief read through and will find time later to have a click on all the links. Hells those J Brands are so bargainous. I am not sure what their sizes are like - what would a 31 be?

I am sorry I've not been on much recently but rl has been hounding me.

Have been doing lots of shopping though - and lots of returning. Will come back tomorrow and link to some of the keepers or things others might like.

Must report back on the christening outfit - yellow Reiss skirt, Zara black pussy bow and eventually 5 yr old black and snakeprint kitten heels. I have never had so many compliments ever, from v fashionable women to non fashionable men (6 of whom said how lovely I looked Hmm!). My advice: get a canary yellow skirt.

In laws have just left (finally) after nightmare day. The politics of Christmas has started already.

Oh - dp coming back so must dash - promised I wouldn't be on the computer tonight.

Night all and hope to see some of you at the weekend Wink.

blossoming · 13/10/2010 21:34

Lovely dresses there fritzi. I like the plain ones the second two you linked to.

Loved the Choos blog too. I don't have any Choos. Not sure whether that's a hole that needs filling really - I think it's all marketing these days. I would like a pair of Manolos though.

DH been away for 36 hours and not a peep out of him. Not picking up the phone. Hope he's not dead in a ditch somewhere. I feel a bit lonely Sad

Roma - That sucks. I quite often don'y hear from DH for a few days at a time (well, a lot longer than a few days if he is in hot sandy places IFYSWIM!) However, he usually always tells me when he's going to be out of contact for a while.

OP posts:
Romanarama · 13/10/2010 22:40

I think it's just that it's the Far East, around 9 hours ahead, he'll have straight meetings and dinner, plus jet lag and be exhausted. I'm glad he's not in a hot sandy place though - must be a worry.

hf128219 · 13/10/2010 22:48

Roma That will be it then. Not much fun when you are stuck at home.

Just back from a cocktail party - I don't think I've seen so many pissed people in one room for a long time! Grin

Fritzi I like the patterned Malandrino best. Definitely vavavoooom.
HF how very civilised, a cocktail party on a Wednesday. Am Envy

happilyeverafter · 13/10/2010 23:38

Just a flying visit but everything your new baby pic is beautiful

Hope you hear from DH soon Roma missing them is pants

rufus101 · 13/10/2010 23:40

Everything cross posts! I'm in a book club. I read that book, didn't particularly like it. Don't think it's a patch on THe Kite Runner. However I'm on my own, everybody else seems to like it.
Good reads recently Gate at the stairs by Lorri Moore, and Room by Emma Donoghue (nominated for but didn't win this years booker) Engleby by Sebastian Faulks is an excellent read, and The Collector by John Fowler. I am a book fiend, and generally have about 10 books "in reserve" just in case I run out!

You see! It's even your look.
Baby pics gorgeous BTW. I fear looking at pics like that for too long, in case I get the goos! Chants no more DC, no more DC) I'm past it anyway at 41.
