The previous Carry On thread is full, so thought I'd start the new one.

General comments, thoughts, anything that we fancy but NO willy waving!

Thanks, I've ordered a taster from Joose juice Smile

OnTheUp13 · 09/03/2017 18:19

Jins I have a load of 18mg too if you'd like it!

OnTheUp13 · 09/03/2017 18:21

My trusty K4 battery stopped holding charge properly today (fine for at home but not when I'm out!) so I brought myself the Aspire Pockex- I've only had it since this afternoon but I bloody love it! Will deffo need the K4 if I'm having a drink tho!

Jins · 09/03/2017 19:20

Ooh what flavours have you got?

All these people dropping from 18mg fills me with hope. I've got 12mg in the tank at the moment and it's not quite enough. Maybe in a few weeks

AgentCooper · 10/03/2017 21:55

I've dropped down to 6 from 12 and though I'm not feeling cravey, I am going through an absolute shitload of liquid and it's costing too much. Does it settle down eventually, does anyone know?

Jins · 15/03/2017 14:11

I can't help as I'm still mostly on high nic. Hopefully someone else will be able to help.

For those sweet toothed custardy type vapers I've found a bargain here. I can't put it down.
www.vapeinc.com/collections/clearance-items/products/classified-plush-15ml

Custard with hints of banana and caramel. Yum.

Cheap nautilus bvc coils too and free shipping. A Google will find a 15% discount. So I'm getting 5 coils and 4x15ml bottles delivered to me for a bit over a tenner.

Thanks Polter and Jin Flowers I bought cheaper juice at the weekend and though I am still going through it like mad at least it's not so dear. I think I'm going to head to One Pound E Liquids and just bulk buy because the feeling of running out was panicking me. My tank's about 7 months old as well so I'm wondering if it's maybe time for a new one, if this one's getting a bit leaky.

The reason I want to drop is because I recently found out I'm pregnant. I know I should be stopping altogether but that's what I'm working towards. I suffer from an anxiety disorder and the doctor said as long as I'm not smoking she's OK with it, but to reduce the nic. I don't take any caffeine anyway (always avoided it due to the anxiety) and I just want to do my best.

Jins · 15/03/2017 19:25

Congratulations Flowers. Sounds like you have a sensible GP as well

Try Vapegoo as well for low prices. They do nic shots so it's just under £14 inc postage for 3x30ml bottles of 6mg and less for lower strength.

Thank you both Flowers Honestly, I'm so grateful for the vaping threads because if I asked about this situation on Chat I'd be hung, drawn and quartered. Will check out Vapegoo, Jin!

Jins · 15/03/2017 20:05

All any of us can do is our best Agent and you've discussed it with your doctor and have advice on the matter. Just do what you have to do to stay off the fags.

Vapegoo isn't premium juice but it's not bad. The custard is pretty good. I've not tried many of them but the ones I have tried have been well worth the money

SilverHawk · 20/03/2017 21:23

Hello, I'm a total newbie to all this and would love a hand hold.
I just saw red this morning when buying my ciggies as branded packet was the old price and the black packet was 50p more! That's it! I was straight round to the local vaping shop. No research or anything.
I've ended up with an Endura T18E and 10ml of tobacco flavour. Now 40 years of smoking isn't going to go away overnight. Should I aim to cut down or what?

Jins · 21/03/2017 09:39

Hi and welcome SilverHawk. I'm a recent returner to vaping (70days) and I cut down initially but switched over to vaping almost by accident in the first week or so. I actually don't know exactly when my quitting cigs date is.

The Endura is great for starting out and I think you've been well advised there. My best advice is to vape as much as you need to to avoid cravings. Different flavours help to keep it fresh. I didn't get on with tobacco flavours first time round (and picked flavours that weren't right for me so didn't stick to it). This time I stocked up with loads of cheap juices and if I thought I might have a cig I just changed flavours. That's not so easy with the Endura though as there's so much wicking material in there it's not easy to change quickly.

Good luck and stick with it. There's loads of advice and expertise on these threads. It's really helped me get back into it

Thank you Jins and PolterGoose, it's good to hear of your own experience.
It's day 2 1/2 now Grin and I haven't smoked since the ceremonial 'last' ciggie on Monday. At this stage, I don't feel that the odd one or two cigarettes would mean a failure as it's too early to tell.
What's really helping me is that the whole kit/world of vaping is like a new toy. I had my 10ml free liquid included with the kit on Monday so today I decided to try some more flavours. I now have a range of five to use, which will keep it exciting and new for me.
I managed the first morning by following exactly the same routine (a little bit of peace and quiet looking at the sky/trees etc) but vaping instead. I thought that would be my biggest hurdle.
The weirdest thing is that I keep feeling for my lighter which was usually in my trouser pocket.

There is definitely a push and a pull going on.
The push is the price of cigarettes (at the moment there is actual annoyance/anger) and I must harness that. I've never felt so P'd off before. The pull is the 'new toy'!
Such early days but it's so nice to have a hand hold Smile

SilverHawk · 24/03/2017 20:36

Weird question, the replacement coils come in 1.5 or 2.0 Ohms, standard kit comes with 1.5 Ohm. Does 2 Ohm get hotter?
What difference does that 0.5 Ohm make in terms of vaping?

Jins · 24/03/2017 22:18

I've only seen Endura coils in 1.5ohm. I know the iclear 30s coils will fit but they aren't the same.

I'd go with the 1.5 as the battery is set at 14w and it's not adjustable. I get muddled with resistance so won't try a technical answer Wink

Well done. You'll be getting spare kit next no doubt

SilverHawk · 24/03/2017 22:38

I saw the coils on the Vapourlites site. I think I've worked out that the 2.0 Ohms is colder and I really can't see the advantage of that.
I might well be adapting kit!!!! It so appeals to my inner geek Grin
Or even going DIY

Jins · 24/03/2017 22:54

I think they'd work. I've got an iclear coil somewhere - might give it a go.

I've been trying to rebuild nautilus coils today. Made a beautiful coil, fitted perfectly and hit 1.8 ohms first time. Failed on wicking it though. All good fun.

If you think you may fancy building then treat yourself to a Kayfun clone. I don't know where you'd start building an Endura coil but they are cheap enough anyway

JingleJangleBell · 28/03/2017 22:13

Hey all hope I can join in. I vaped for a year then stupidly starting smoking again. I still have lots of juice so I'm gonna start back on 6mg tomorrow and hoping kick the horrible smoking habit for good

Ollivander84 · 29/03/2017 15:07

Course you can! Friendly corner over here Grin

SilverHawk · 29/03/2017 20:58

Silly question time!
Can I stockpile juice? I've just seen a load of the flavour that I like reduced.
