Dh ex wants to meet new baby

Did your Dh ex ask to meet your new baby?
Dh ex wants to meet the baby when step children do.

She has gone on to have more children after Dh but Dh hasn't really met them, nor would particularly want to. I feel like it is a bit odd.

I’m sure there are tons of people for whom this scenario would be a happy, friendly thing. BUT... this particular ExW is not on good terms with OP and OP’s DH. Why would anyone want someone mean anywhere near their baby?

I think it's fine that she wants to meet the baby, and you always have a choice in the matter, but I don't think it's fair that she's there the first time the kids meet the baby. This is a special moment and quite a private one between you, DH and the kids.

I'm pregnant at the moment. Relationship with DPs EXDP isn't great (never had an issue but they don't get on). She won't be meeting our baby unless it happens by chance!

I would find it odd but If you get on with them ok why not ? - my sd mum has actually gone out her way to avoid meeting our new baby and locked herself in her bedroom Christmas morning because we were there with him 😂
