I'm not quite sure - do I need to be married to be a stepmum? DP and I live together - he has a DS and I have a DD and a DS so I may be one.

Me. Dh and I have 3 each. None together. Age range: 11-21.
My three also have a stepmother and a baby half - sister.
Everyone gets on well. Except my stepkids' mother, whom I've never met, but we've never had any trouble with her either. She's just very private.

I don't believe you need to be married to be classed as a stepmum although I know a lot will disagree ,but if you're in a long-term relationship then you're filling that role

I am! I have one dsd (9) who lives with us 3 days pw. I also have 2 ds's (10 and 12) who live with us f/t from my previous marriage and a ds (3 months) with my dh.
