Only 4 of us made it but I think this year we will be a bigger group

If I can possibly make it I will be there, Im not in a position to book anything, if I have to i will kick someone out of their bed Ill bring my airbed and sleeping bag and sleep in with Everyone and Barf.

Sorry I'm new to all this, but if this is some sort of get together and chinwag, I'd be really keen to meet people in a similarish situation and share advice. I'm in Wiltshire.

I'd like to come too - is there a date in mind? Will be coming from Berkshire.

So far we are thinking of going on 3rd of march.

Can we pick a nice hotel - maybe slightly out and see if we can negotiate a group rate?? People could double (triple coz I'm on floor!!) up and sort out sharing if they so wish???

We thought people could book their own accommodation and we will meet centrally for food and drinks....

Nobody is too new Lala - It's open to all SP who would like to meet people in similar family setups and -then get pissed with them have a laugh.

I will be back later with suggestions for places where we can meet for drinks and food.

Think I will most likely get the train and therefore need to stay somewhere fairly central. Anyone got any recommendations? will take a look now anyway... Where are we likely to meet for a nosebag?

It will be somewhere central. Last time we stayed near the train station - we walked to Carluccios and then to a nice pub for bevvies. I will be looking up hotels and put a few ideas later.

Mint hotel looks good and is a good price - have stayed at the one in London and it was great. Let me know if any one else is interested in staying there... (Equally, premier inn has fantastic reviews on tripadvisor..)

Had a look at Mint Hotel and thought it was a bit far from centre. The Britannia has great deals and is a short walk from the station so I have booked there.

Now for the food and drinks...
