The Bonus Mums (BoMs) Wine drinking thread is now resuming normal service on SP.
Take a seat on our Passive Agressive Furniture and pour yourself a nice Wine.

Cakes and Double G&Ts are also welcome.

WinterLover · 09/06/2011 08:51

haha baby was wrong... your mean woman.

Question, Kara, my good friend and several others have told me to get Rasberry leaf tablets/tea. Have you lot tried it before?

KaraStarbuckThrace · 09/06/2011 11:52

Yes I had it with DS as well, it is supposed to help tone your uterus and make your contractions more efficient.

WinterLover · 09/06/2011 12:00

Been and got some tea, will start with that first next weekish then maybe the tablets after 36 weeks as thats what the box suggests..

Il do anything to make it easier lol

yoshiLunk · 09/06/2011 14:04

And a herbalist friend of mine said to keep taking it after the birth as it helps get your uterus back in condition too.

yoshiLunk · 09/06/2011 14:08

Winter, Do you get much of a chance to stick an iPod on and just relax? If you do I would recommend a preparation for birth relaxation hypnosis thingy, - I honestly believe it helped me get my head in the right place IYSWIM, and stay calm and collected during the birth Grin

If it's the sort of thing you'd be interested in let me know and i'll look up which one it was and give you the name, - actually I must have it still somewhere I don't remember ebaying it or anything. Let me know Wink

WinterLover · 09/06/2011 14:10

yeah id heard that too... worth a shot whether it works or not Grin

yoshiLunk · 09/06/2011 14:10

I should be clear that it's on a CD, I haven't got an actual hypnotist hanging around my house, - that would be weird wouldn't it Hmm

WinterLover · 09/06/2011 14:22

oh that sounds like a good idea, Yeah I get an hour or two to myself in a morning before DP gets up so could listen to one then Grin

In bed now but have the new MN iPhone app Grin

GinAndWater · 10/06/2011 21:43

WinterLover · 10/06/2011 21:56

It's loads easier than having to load browser up. DP says he'll never get me off MN now lol

nenevomito · 12/06/2011 19:28

Evening all .

Well against my better judgement I'm having a wee drinkie on a Sunday night. DD is in bed, DS is bouncing off the walls and I'm still seething about last Friday and thinking about how I should handle it tomorrow.

Then again I could be taking part in a very long labour! - Thinking of you Kara!

Does anyone have any peanuts?

WinterLover · 12/06/2011 19:43

Evening Baby

I have peanuts Grin Il let you have some if you let me have a little drinky too Grin

GinAndWater · 13/06/2011 11:27

WinterLover · 13/06/2011 11:29

Well done Kara

nenevomito · 13/06/2011 11:36

Congratulations to KST and MrKST and the lovely new babyKST.

Anyone up for wetting the babies head? It's been ages since I've had a virtual daytime drink on here (well about a week).

Nibbles?

Twiglet?

Nuns Fart?

Can I break out my passive aggressive serving dishes and serve it all on the transference table? It's been a while. Grin

nenevomito · 13/06/2011 11:37

Out of interest, I have made what is possibly the worst cup of coffee I have ever made in my entire life. I really want coffee, but have to go and get another cup as its truly undrinkable, even with sugar.

GinAndWater · 13/06/2011 11:37

Set to bake Nuns Fart Grin

WinterLover · 13/06/2011 11:40

Il go for a midday drinky Grin can I have some quavers too please?

nenevomito · 13/06/2011 11:53

I'm sure we can manage some quavers.

I've also heard that dancing on the tables will be required at some point - although those with a skewed sense of balance can sit safely on the floor!
