F1 2025 - Watchalong Thread

Happy New Year.

We start with the first all teams season launch on 18 February. Ferrari reveal their 2025 car the day after.

Pre season testing will take place on 26 to 28 February in Bahrain. Australia will host the opening race on Sunday March 16th.

Gutted that I could’ve had 10 minutes extra in bed 😭 I feel sorry for him though!

Didn’t need the cameras in his face when he was clearly distraught. Nice of Sir Lewis’s dad comforting him though!

That thought about extra sleep went through my head too.

I half expect we will have more than one delay. I did just jokingly say who will crash in the formation lap, didn't expect it though, expected to get to lap 1 before a crash.

Thats what I said, that camera guy was awful in his face. That was lovely to comfort him

Good of Antony Hamilton there.
Going to be an interesting race but not one I think will give us a feel for the rest of the season.
Will keep an eye on Sainz and Wiliams this year as I feel they'll do well
I'm a Papaya girl at heart so hope Mclaren can bring both cars home.

I'm usually up for work at 3.30 so I'm fortunately running on my normal time.
I actually was in the presence of Anthony Hamilton at BTCC at Croft. He was there to support Nick and we passed him in the pit lane. Nice bloke and happy to chat with the few people who recognised him. Lewis choppered in for the race but I wasn't lucky enough to see him.

The lack of timing being shown today is getting really annoying

The strategies today are shocking

Hamilton not happy with the ferrari strategy, what a surprise. Not sure why ferrari thought they could stay out in that rain.

5 laps. Watching through my fingers. Come on Lando.

Ferrari showing that they still have terrible strategies- they are ridiculous (although may feel bitter because I’m a huge Lewis fan).

gutted about Oscar. And Fernando. And Sainz.

I only listened to that last lap, couldn't watch.
Oscar did well, I think Ferrari has met its match with Lewis, and the rookies have had a baptism of fire!
Nice one Mclaren, bring on the rest of the season!
