Thought I would start the 2024 thread given there is more political intrigue with the FIA.

One of the yachts near the swimming pool as they thunder down the straight would be amazing. Or from one of the very expensive hotel balconies.

I looked at a Sunday ticket from one of the yachts a few years ago. It's around £2,500 per person. Owch!

Considering a seat in a grandstand at Silverstone starts at around £500, I don’t think that’s that bad!

F1 experiences are charging £11,800+ for 3 days on a trackside yacht. Travel etc. on top!

It's my dream if I win the lottery that I will for one complete season, travel the world and be at every F1 race in the Paddock Club area. It will take a lottery win for me to be able to afford it but it is top of my bucket list should I ever win.

Snap. I keep doing the lottery.

Paddock Club at the British Grand Prix would do me nicely. Even if I win the lottery, I'm not sure I would fit in on a fancy Monaco yacht in my jeans by George at ASDA! 😂

It reminds me of the Top Gear episode where they race around Monaco, and Richard and James go partying on the fancy yachts and get really drunk. 😀

I am going to Silverstone this year, first GP for me in a couple of decades, but I just have a lowly grandstand ticket for the Sunday, and that was so expensive!

@Sulusu enjoy Silverstone, make sure you have good sunscreen and waterproofs to have all bases covered 😂

Yes I'm so pale I'm nearly translucent I will be smothered in sunscreen. We have covered grandstand seats thankfully.

I'm currently trying to find a nice F1 bucket hat to wear.

@Sulusu DR has some lovely ones but very expensive with import tax etc.

Monaco FP1 Lewis on top, then Oscar, George and Lando. I am sure this will change.

Not sure if anyone has seen Oscar Piastri's jokes about how many home races he has due to his mixed heritage, but Charles Le Clerc joked and said he would adopt him.
The official timing board for FP1 had him as "Oscar Piastri-Le Clerc" 😂

Completely missed FP2 watching the post office enquiry on catch up!

My partner took me to Monaco gp late nineties
it was fab as we had a hotel balcony, the
noise was terrific and added so much to the incredible atmosphere
I blagged our way into parc ferme afterwards which. Was really special
we met Eddy Irvines parents at the entrance gate who had their tartan thermos and sandwich box in a Tesco carrier bag , they would follow him around Europe in their camper

Just watching the F3. Recognised Luke Brownings name. Having googled its amazing how many of the drivers I recognise from British F4- part of the support package for BTCC. Saw a lot of them start in junior Ginettas.

I'm hoping to take the kids to Knockhill this year, there's various race weekends on; maybe the Touring Car Championship, that could be fun. And I love car photography so might get up close to some good stuff.

Someone posted that it won't be long before he's called Oscar Pastry-Eclair.

I loved James Vowels chatting with the Sky F1 pundits yesterday when he was trying to remember the name of Visa Cash App team and he said "Don't ask me what they're called, Alpha Tauri, Visa Cash App Buy one Get One Free..." it was just glorious!

I'm watching the results of F3 and there is a Bulgarian on the top step. Makes such a refreshing change to hear a different anthem to the Dutch one 😆Maybe I should be paying more attention to the feeder series so that I don't have to keep listening to the Dutch anthem every race weekend!

I see Max was moaning again through FP2 and then it will all miraculously come together in quali...

@TakeThePain knockhill is a circuit I'd love to go to. Recommend the touring cars. Decent package for the ticket price, touring cars, porsches, minis, F4 and a new addition this year, legends ( 1934 Ford coupes )
You can go round and see the cars in the garages and there's always a signing session with the drivers.
Full family day out.

My son will get in for free as an under 12 which is fab.
