Thanks for the new thread. I'm actually a fan of RB (sorry), but I hope other teams are closer this year. We need actual racing which hasn't really been happening.

@Sulusu I think Drive to Survive is usually released just before the first race so possibly mid-Feb.

My husband bought me a McLaren T shirt for Xmas. I don't really have a favourite team (just want a good exciting race). But I am desperate for poor Lando to win a race.

Hi can I join the thread.I have loved Formula 1 for over 20 years now, off to the British Grand Prix in July this will be our 6th time. I'm also very lucky as my son inherited my love of Formula 1 and is now in the second year of his apprenticeship with one of the teams.

I’m envious of anyone going to a GP - I have mobility issues so, unless I win big on the lottery and can afford Paddock Club, I will have to live with my memories of the races I was lucky enough to attend.

Hope you enjoy Silverstone. Your son must be loving his apprenticeship.

@Brazilianadventure he really is loving it and I've been incredibly lucky too, I was his plus 1 at the 2022 Christmas party and met the drivers, the team boss and Simon Lazenby 😀 also been to the factory twice, it was a surreal experience!

I really hope that Verstappen doesn't just dominate all season this year. It just got boring to be honest. I'm also desperate for Lando to win. I really like him and George.

I decided last year to pay for the F1 Sky Sports channel every month that there were 3 races in a 30 day period. They have a 30 day minimum sign up so I always have to call and sign up 30 days before the third race, ask them to add it, and immediately ask them to cancel it. Lol. That way I get to only pay for exactly 1 month. Yes, I am that tight!! 🤣

I didn't really care about Max's dominance to be honest, I just forgot about his existence and focused on what was going on in the middle of the pack.

Can't wait to see what Alonso gets up to, and McLaren were looking pretty good too. The rest of the grid is exciting if you wipe Max from your sphere of knowledge 😁

I do this with the NOW tv app. I just don't see the point of paying just for a few races, especially as we can't always watch all weekend. So if it's a month of lots of races where we are likely to be around to watch them then I'll get a monthly pass.

Always a bonus if we are abroad and it's on the hotel tv.

Gunther Steiner leaving Haas with immediate effect.

That is a big loss for F1 and Haas.

Gutted. Guenther is a legend.

Gutted, drive to survive won't be the same without him.

Drive to Survive's ratings will probably tank a bit. He's the most watchable by far, just no filter there at all!

To be honest I spent the first half of last year thinking what is DTS going to do with no Danny Ric.

I think DR is a bit much sometimes. It's like take the day off mate!

I do hope that Gunther manages to find another role in F1, or that he and Mattia Binotto take to the roads around Europe on a travel show!

We call him Danny Dick. He's too much for me.

I found Gunther very entertaining in Drive to Survive, and in interviews generally in F1. However I don't think he would be someone I would want to work for. I'm not sure Haas under his leadership was a very efficient or relaxed place. I will miss his shenanigans in DtS, but I suspect Haas might do a wee bit better without him.
