Hi there ariadne! Thanks for new thread.

I've just been chatting to Pan on the old thread, and posted a link over here Smile

Panwearsamagicjersey · 22/08/2014 21:32

Muchos gracias ariadneBike

Panwearsamagicjersey · 22/08/2014 21:37
DramaAlpaca · 22/08/2014 21:45

So what jersey are you going for this time, Pan? A rojo one?

Just heard Chris Horner has been pulled from the Vuelta due to high cortisol levels Hmm. I half heard it on Eurosport, not sure of full story.

Panwearsamagicjersey · 22/08/2014 21:49

Horner....just....Hmm. Interesting, isn't it? Esp after that avoidance-stunt he pulled last year.
Jersey - must be Jensie-themed, shorely?Bike

DramaAlpaca · 22/08/2014 21:51

Pansaysshutuplegs? Grin

Panwearsamagicjersey · 22/08/2014 21:53

ImMotherfuckingPan - bit strong.Smile

DramaAlpaca · 22/08/2014 22:03

Maybe just a bit... OK for this thread, but I don't know how it'd go down elsewhere on MN Grin

Panwearsamagicjersey · 22/08/2014 22:05

Quite!Smile

ariadneoliver · 22/08/2014 22:06

Hi all, good to see the peleton taking shape. Drama the Chris Horner story is at the link in his name. Basically medical treatment left him with low cortisol levels and as Lampre are part of MPCC he has to withdraw.

DramaAlpaca · 22/08/2014 22:08

Ah, thanks ariadne.

Panwearsamagicjersey · 22/08/2014 22:12

darned! We can't make baseless and frankly libellous accusatorily posts about Mr Horner without reading your informative link ariadne? Blush

DramaAlpaca · 22/08/2014 22:15

...and my post wasn't even accurate. Low cortisol levels, fgs, not high ones Blush

Panwearsamagicjersey · 22/08/2014 22:19

ariadne is obv a very fine road capt, if I may say. Thank the Lord it wasn't DA, otherwise we'd all be in the civil court dock, Horner v MN Peloton.Grin

ShutUpPan · 22/08/2014 22:29

New name seems good advice...

Reminds me of an Oscar Wilde quote.."The best thing to do with good advice is to pass it on. Because it will be of no use to you."Smile

DoctorTwo · 23/08/2014 06:23

Three weeks of pedalling around Spain paying no attention to the view. Shame that Horner isn't racing but still.

aurynne · 23/08/2014 10:07

It's "pelotón" :)

ariadneoliver · 23/08/2014 19:48

Team time trial was a good opener and surprisingly exciting. I may treat myself to a celebratory sherry later in honour of the stage. Grin Next stop Algeciras. Bike Bike

Bonjour! Urk, first post on new mobile site, interesting. I am waving at you from Bergerac, not as wet as it was for the tour stage thank goodness! It's nice and sunny but very rural so Le wee fee not always the best and I can't find the Vuelta on telly so I will be relying on you lot.BikeBikeBike

EndoplasmicReticulum · 23/08/2014 22:41

Hello, signing in from holiday with inlaws so probably won't get to watch a lot in between episodes of coronation street.

Do have internet though so will try to keep up.

ShutUpPan · 24/08/2014 21:52

Jensie on his last breakaway.....Bike

ShutUpLegs · 25/08/2014 09:05

I like the idea of a Veulta-bottle-of-sherry. I must swing by a booze emporium today.

Why the obsession with launching stages over water this year?

ShutUpLegs · 25/08/2014 09:06

Vuelta, even. Gah.

JustAboveTheDogPan · 25/08/2014 10:32

Domestically Jens-related, but better?

Just caught up with yesterday's stage. Well done Nacer, for some reason Sagan seems to have stopped off for some tapas on the way to the finish he doesn't look like he's trying.
