The most brilliant thing just came out of my scalp 😃 (pic included)

I am on top of the world!

About a week ago a cyst on my scalp started expelling its content and god love him DH dutifully squoze it over the coming days. DH thought it was over but I KNEW there was more in there and suspected DH didn’t get the sac.

Anyway I was just fiddling with the scab, as you do, and got DH to have a little look. He trotted up to get the tweezers as he could see something wanted out, quickly burned them on the gas job and after a few tries pulled out the sac!!! So relieved!! Now I want my other ones doing 😄

I had another one do the same about 10 years ago and it’s so satisfying. I don’t want to wait another 10 for my next one to be gone, but it’s like £500 per cyst or something to get them removed!

LTB. Not really, it’s quite an ask I guess. Someone else’s pus etc is way worse than your own.

Tempted to fiddle with my other ones to get them out too, I feel so relieved that that is out of my head!!

This is so satisfying. It’s how I remove mine now that the GP doesn’t do them as a minor op anymore and the hospitals don’t remove them unless infected. The sac always seems to work it’s way out during the healing process in exactly the way you described.

Ive counted 6 but some pathetically small. My mum has a massive one. I also have a cyst on my back I’ve had since I was tiny, we’re a v lumpy family.

Unfortunately it’s a days-long process and you have to just deal with it when it happens, plus an awkward place so hard to film! (Plus foul).

Congratulations on your new arrival! I have one in my lip ( not visible from the outside) that’s a bit bigger than a garden pea. Had it 29 years. It rolls around in there peacefully

I had one that did exactly that about 5 years ago. Despite the sac coming out, it's refilled and id say is bigger now than if was back then. It just won't, bloody burst. Luckily my hair covers it but I'm thinking if it gets any bigger I'm going to have to get it removed privately.

DH has one the size of an olive on the back of his neck, but he won't let me stab it. I get itchy fingers just looking at it!
