The moment you knew you were a fan of sporn

I was 17 and had a weird lump under the skin between my top lip and nose.
It didn't hurt but I could feel it inside.
Thought I would try giving it a little squeeze.
Green stuff shot out and hit the mirror and kept on coming. It was amazing.
I was hooked. Been fascinated ever since. If there was a job of "boil nurse" I would do it.

My second eldest daughter had the most filthiest ears, she was lying with her head on my lap and I gently tugged a bit of earwax that was literally hanging out and a big ear canal shaped plug of wax popped out and she jumped up as she only realised at that moment she was actually a bit deaf because of it. I just sat there staring at this beautiful waxy lump in my palm, it was one of the most glorious moments of my life 🥰

I think mine was a gradual thing.
A slippery slope.
It started with just the odd blackhead, and before I knew it, I was scouring the internet, always in search of the bigger, better pus.

I had an ex with cystic acne, who used to ask me to squeeze his pustules; he didnt even need promises of "rewards" for letting me.

When my younger brother had a boil type cyst on his stomach & would only allow me to remove the dressing that was stuck to it & the gunge started pouring out of it, I pressed it gently & loads of stuff that looked like scrambled egg came out. It dried up until one day there was a black top on it & when I squeezed it this thick white worm at least 3 inches long came out. I was only maybe 14 but it was amazing.

I had a massive spot on the side of my head. It was red raw and had a white head. I went to squeeze with little effort and it burst hitting the mirror and made a squeaky sound like a sigh of relief. I was about 19 at the time.
About two years ago my dm had an abscess at the back of her leg, behind her knee. It ended up being an open wound. The nurse was watching me as she was packing it, just in case I fainted. I told her I was fascinated at the wound and what she was doing

You are not my people. I have no idea why I read this thread - I loathe every aspect of Sporn! Probably because my mother was evil; I had a spotty back as a teen. Anyone remember Oxy10 (think spot treatment)? She’d promise she’d just dab on but would immediately try to pop the buggers. I’m quite proud if I get a spot now (being post menopausal) but still can’t poke around and hope it goes by itself in the shower / post bath! Shudder . . .
