My friend had one which was removed by her dentist.

Tonsil stones. I get them and can usually eventually dislodge them with my tongue. They absolutely stink.

You can buy a tonsil store irrigation kit. Hopefully your dentist can budge it for you. They stink like shit. Literally. I work in dentistry and seen and smelt too many. 😷

Oh wait!! That actually is your tonsil - I was looking at the picture without zooming in so can see from the uvula that it is your tonsil. Definitely a tonsil stone. You can hook it out with a cotton bud. Prepare for the stench!

My DD gest these - she squeezes them out all the time. I keep away and leave her to it!

It definitely looks like a tonsil stone. If you prod it firmly with a dry cotton bud, it should stick to the bud. Then you can pull it out.

Could be an aphthous ulcer? Very painful if so, I don't think there's much you can do beyond warm salt water gargles and painkillers.

I get tonsil stones on occasion and have a little dentistry kit I use to pluck the buggers out. They really do stink so bad.

Im not sure it is a tonsil stone. The cleaner picture looks like theres some sort if film over it. The other picture it looks like pus. I think it looks more like tonsillitis.

It's hard to tell from the angle, but if you have a very painful sore throat then it may be tonsillitis (strep throat) as opposed to tonsil stones. Do you have a fever with it as well?

BettaSplenden it's been a while and I know it's not the same for everyone but when I had quinsey it was like pus bunting across my throat. This looks far too polite for that.

I get tonsil stones all the time and that doesn't look like one. That looks like its under the skin. Could be some sort of infection/strep throat/quincy/tonsillitis

No way is the first one a tonsil stone, they are not under the skin like that, there’s wee blood vessels over that patch! I think more likely tonsillitis since you have sore throat, it can go white and furry, or an ulcer like others have said. I’d check it out with GP.
