Had a really sore throat and just looked- wtf is that?

See a doctor, looks like tonsillitis

How do you squeeze out a tonsil stone without boaking?

I’ve tried poking and squeezing but I’m gagging

Deep breath first then hold your breath as you give it a poke. I found cotton buds were no good though so I bought a metal dentists kit with the long sharp tweezers, scrapers and spikes. If I am very careful i can get a good grip of the little buggers without touching the back wall of my mouth.

However @Excitedforxmas, looking again, it does look like it's possibly a tonsil infection.

If I push my tonsil with a cotton bud it presses the tonsil stones out. You get used to where you can press without gagging & get used to it.

I read online reviews for this mouthwash that says it prevents them. A bit too pricey for me to try it out but posting in case someone else wants to give it a go

Does it taste / smell awful? I've not had tonsil stones but as a classic sporner, that's the first thing I thought of!

As you mention very sore throat, it's surely got the be tonsillitis? I've had it fairly bad quite a few times and where I couldn't even swallow saliva and had to spit it out constantly. Hideously painful. Hope you're ok OP.

It's not a tonsil stone, don't fiddle with it! See a GP.

I think It’s tonsillitis . I had it about 20 years ago and I remember white patches

Tonsil stone. My doc told me to gargle 3 times a day with warm salt water. It worked

It looks like an abscess to me! If it ruptures be sure to film it gargle with warm salt water and see a doc ASAP.
