I have a hole through my toe, want to see?

NC for obvious reasons.

So, 6 months ago I got an infection on my foot. It spread and took 3 lots of increasingly strong antibiotics and 3 months to get back in shoes from a small weird blister.

Been in socks since, no issues. With warmer weather comes bare feet and dog's shedding. I noticed some hair between my little toe and next one. But sort of stuck. So I tweezered them out, noticed a bit of a hole/pit and thought I'd better keep that clean and get some cream on it.

Tonight I go back for a second look. I notice there's a dark patch the other side. Then I notice the hairs sticking out there too.

So I'll call the doc tomorrow before my toe falls off because I'm pretty sure this 🕳 goes all the way through.

And because I'm nice I took a video of me pulling some hairs out...

It is sore now I've removed them all.

Yes, the kind that catches inside your bra and itches. Pointy, strong dog hair.

Hair is surprisingly sharp , I cut dd’s hair and stood on a hair that must have been sticking up in the carpet, it was like standing on a piece of glass.

Hairdressers also get hair stuck in their feet.

Weirdly this happened to me. Dogs hair was like pine needles and it kind of wrapped together - it was like the twist drilled through my toe. Oddest thing

Phone consultation after the Doc watched the video. He's recommended we try salt water baths for a week. Seems not overly concerned about the hole.

I was grossly fascinated, but now I suppose I have to be good and not let it get hairy again. Boo.

Dog hairs stuck 'inside' your skin! Filthy nails and manky tweezers! I've never seen anything like it.
