I have this lovely infected cyst on my back. I read on NHS website that you shouldn't squeeze them and visit gp for antibiotics. She gave me antibs but also asked if she could squeeze it. I let her have a go but nothing came out. She told me to try and squeeze it at home going against the official advice. She's a sporner isn't she? I sadly still can't get anything out of it.

Well it can be... My poor mam had one under her boob that needed surgery to resolve it. Made me a bit less keen to mess about with them!

@mitebiteatnite I so wanted to film it for you and feel like I have let the corner down by failing to produce the goods, but I just couldn't think of a reason to give to DH that didn't sound weird as to why he needed to film me squeezing pus out of my cyst.
Thanks for the encouragement @Dashie. I would love to be a writer and you're right sporner lit could be just the niche market for my breakthrough.
@MrHaroldFry that gives me hope that my mank back might stop being so disgusting in a day or 2. Really looking forward to being a normal person who can sit back in chairs again.

@questionablemouse the Dr had referred me to have the wall removed so hopefully it will be gone for good soon. Just a little sad that I probs won't ever get to squeeze anything that plentiful ever again...

QuestionableMouse

Likewise my dh has HS, he cringes whenever someone suggests heat as it may help it burst but some complaints it's the last thing you should do.
Mine uses a Kaolin poultice, and dressing.
Unless you know exactly what you are dealing with don't apply heat, or lance yourself.

It's turning a weird colour now. Anyone experience this before? I have a GP appt tomorrow. Ignore the red area around it, I'm allergic to the tape that holds the dressing on .

Our nurse practitioner is a massive sporner - any time we get anything that might need to be squeezed we always book it in with her 😂😂😂

QuestionableMouse · 10/09/2019 18:28

Put flannels soaked in boiled water as hot as you can bear it, several times a day if you can reach it.

ladyflower23 · 10/09/2019 18:59

Yes it does look like bruising doesn't it. Maybe I squeezed it too hard Blush

That bit of skin has been through a lot. 😂

MrHaroldFry · 11/09/2019 20:35

Hope you got to see the GP today and that all is ok now.

SheChoseDown · 11/09/2019 21:55

My fella will give it a go.... We're fkin gross ain't we

ladyflower23 · 11/09/2019 22:17

I saw the GP. She gave it a prod and said 'wow a lot of pus has just flown out!' She then asked if I minded her taking a photo for an anonymous dermatology website. I am half expecting it to turn up on here later 😂 she said I should also take one to show at the appointment about getting the sack removed. I didn't tell her I already have a whole catalogue!
