I am in agony

I've hot flannelled it and magnesium sulfated it..

I feel miserable. I can hardly walk

Can’t answer your question, but that looks nasty.

Theweasleytwins · 09/08/2019 16:58

Ooooooo

cokezerothehero · 09/08/2019 17:00

I can actually grab it. I can go under the sizes and grab it. It looks quite flat here but the redness must stretch out two/three inches I just can't post a photograph because I'll have no dignity left Sad

Smothering it in Sudocreme may ease it a bit.

Mummyofbabyandcats · 09/08/2019 17:04

Squeeze !

RandomWok · 09/08/2019 17:04

Have you tried the hot bottle trick? (Disclaimer: I've never tried it but have seen people rave about it...) but it makes sense that it could work....?

RandomWok · 09/08/2019 17:05

Sorry forgot the link... Hmm

Foxglovesandprimroses · 09/08/2019 17:06

I would sterilise a needle in boiling water and then plunge it into the centre.

TSSDNCOP · 09/08/2019 17:06

Lie on your back. Prop legs open to relieve pressure. Take on board wine. You can’t go anything or do anything so you must just give in to The Boil.

twinnywinny14 · 09/08/2019 17:08

Go to the gp and let them deal. They may give you an antibiotic to see if it will subside or they may Lance it. I’ve had both done and both have worked on separate occasions. I sympathise because they are really painful x

TowelNumber42 · 09/08/2019 17:16

Search up the old thread on the follicle bollicle. Yeowch.

Totally understand not wanting to take a full photo but could you draw a diagram of where the CF boil has parked?

Hot bath with loads of epsom salts.

cokezerothehero · 09/08/2019 17:26

Thank you

It feels like a massive single ball and little pockets surrounding it

I had a Hollywood on Friday 😡

It's throbbing I swear it has its own heartbeat

I also have work, soft play and life to deal with 😐

Can someone send me a babysitter, gin and a straw? And a big fuck off anaesthetic

TowelNumber42 · 09/08/2019 20:00

Bartholin cyst?

TowelNumber42 · 09/08/2019 20:01

Bigger than a golf ball? Is it growing?

notapizzaeater · 09/08/2019 20:03

Is the redness spreading ?

cokezerothehero · 09/08/2019 20:14

Yeah the redness is spreading Sad

TowelNumber42 · 09/08/2019 20:15

I'd watch out for signs of sepsis.

I'd also lance that fucker deep no matter how much it hurt. That might be stupid though. Am not a medical professional.

fedup21 · 09/08/2019 20:16

Ouch-that looks so painful Sad

PotteringAlong · 09/08/2019 20:18

‘‘tis a classic thread

IdblowJonSnow · 09/08/2019 20:22

Keep having jot baths and pain killers.
Hopefully it'll pop soon if you keep squeezing it a bit? Not sure I'd stick a needle in it.
If you get a temperature or go shivery I'd head to an out of hours asap or even a and e.

cokezerothehero · 09/08/2019 20:51

Yeah the redness is spreading. It's in the crease between my public area and the top of my inner thigh

It's aching every time I move yet there isn't a yellow head or anything on it Sad

Still hot flannelling and magnesium but fuck me. It's sore right through to my bones

OP posts:
AnnaMagnani · 09/08/2019 20:54

Seriously have you been to the GP?

It's the weekend - you need to go to a Walk In Centre and have a real-life assessment by a professional.

cokezerothehero · 09/08/2019 20:56

I'm in NI. We don't have walk in centres here, the out of hours doc will send me up to the hospital and I don't think I'm at that stage..

I'm just praying it bursts and if not, my own doctor first thing on Monday

It must be infected Sad

MsMightyTitanAndHerTroubadours · 09/08/2019 20:59

I had one like that under my bra strap, it took 4 days to pop after intensive magsulphing and on day two I started to feel really shivery, but by day three that had passed or I would have gone to the GP

the only light spot was telling the pharmacist I had a boil or I was growing another bosom. She laughed, and not sympathetically.

Draw round the edges and see how fast it is inflaming, and go to GP if it gets too craycray.
