I'm not convinced he was completely emptying each pore. I'd love to see Josefa or Enilsa working on this poor face.

Also I HATE when they wipe the blackheads on their gloves. Use a bit of tissue for God's sake.

I enjoyed that one. I am a mobile beauty therapist but I’ve never had black heads like that to extract.

Is it me or did anyone find this less professional than the usual standard on MN?

I agree on the vile practice of wiping all the gunk on the gloves and then leaving it there - WTF?

It also looked like there was quite a bit of damage caused to the skin by the practitioner's nails - leaving those marks and all the blood was less satisfying to watch than when they're in and out like ninja, I must say.

I think these ones are mostly estheticians / beauty therapists who specialise in skin - lots are East Asian patients, lots of the therapists who post the original videos are in Vietnam. And I think there are quite a lot of patients in Vietnam who have extreme blackheads that are in some way related to historic use of Agent Orange (chloracne)

I read that on Reddit, doesn't mean there is any truth to that explanation. But lots of the people who create the original videos (most of the ones on YouTube are actually ripped off and reposted) are beauty therapists, in East Asian countries (though lots have comments or descriptions, I don't know the languages to recognise the characters!)

I do like a good sport video, but I’m put off by the hunk wiped on the gloves. Makes me feel ill.
