My son has a couple of black heads in his ear (not deep). Hairgrip dirsnt work. Is there anything I can do to release them like they did?

You need to decap the follicle - basically take a sterilised needle and just wiggle it around to loosen the gunk, try the hair grip after that

Cotton bud extraction probably less useful than a comedone extractor when there's no skin to squeeze together: in the ear its more about pressure to get underneath
