I fear minor surgery may be required.

Any ideas?

You could try bathing it first with water as hot as you can bare and a gentle or hard as you can bare squeeze. Then if that doesn't work pop it with a sterilised needle or pin.
It's probably a curly one.

SheWhoDaresGins2 · 10/04/2017 20:01

Nurse it is then!

picklemepopcorn · 10/04/2017 20:06

Have you tried squeezing and stabbing at the same time?

Inarightpickleandchutney · 10/04/2017 20:09

I'm goig to have to leave it til the morning I think. I've nearly scalded myself with hot cotton wool.
The excessive needle stabbing today didn't go past first later or so, it felt really tough.
Is mag sulph appropriate?
If I can't get it out tomorrow I'm going to the nurse

Have you considered a chainsaw?

Oblomov17 · 10/04/2017 20:53

Teacupinastorm · 10/04/2017 21:05

Oooh I love a good ingrown hair. DP gets loads but he never lets me attack them :(

olderthanyouthink · 10/04/2017 21:47

I loves a good pick, I keep getting ingrown hairs but not really any good ones lately

Inarightpickleandchutney · 11/04/2017 19:09

Update: I have to have this off at a clinic type thing.. Apparently it's too far in for the nurse to dig it out at the GP.... Excited!

I'm glad you got it looked at.

TipTop333 · 11/04/2017 19:28

A healthcare professional in your area is currently very excited about having this on their appointment list.

LovelyBaubles · 11/04/2017 19:32

Oh exciting. Take someone with you for support to film it

MazDazzle · 11/04/2017 20:11

Reading this with interest.

I think I might have an ingrown hair that's been there for years. It's at the bottom of my calf, so it doesn't really bother me (which is strange in itself as I enjoy a good pick and squeeze!). It's not sore or anything.

Do I need to get it removed? Apologies for hykacking the thread!

picklemepopcorn · 11/04/2017 22:54

Is it too late for me to train as a nurse? A sporn specialist?

punkpuffin · 11/04/2017 23:07

I need to see a video!!

Orlandointhewilderness · 11/04/2017 23:10

Oooooooh! Please update!

cailyaclara · 13/04/2017 22:07

A clinic?! Why did no one ever tell me years ago that you can have a career doing this stuff?!!!
