I have a infected thumb - got antibotics yesterday, doesn't feel as sore but obviously still infected - what do I do with it?! Leave it or poke it so the puss comes out?! Envy (sick - not envy!) forgot fo ask the doctor yesterday although he was impressed I hadn't touched it!

First photo is from almost two weeks ago with just the cut, second photo is today.

It now doesn't hurt and I can actually bend it, it's become quite a part of me and I have worry when I go to bed it may pop in my sleep 😱

It popped today as I bent my thumb - I heard a little crackling noise so I touched it and the puss started to seep out so I thought you may want photos!
Photos are in the order it all happened, the pressure which it has released is amazing but left a hole in my thumb!
