About TUI Travel Expert:
“Hello I am Hannah, I am a mum of 2 young lively children aged 2 and 4. I have worked for TUI for 19 years. I am currently a deputy retail manager in the TUI Westwood store - one of our busiest stores. As a mum I understand the importance of seamless family travel.

I have been lucky enough to experience all that TUI has to offer on my own holidays, from partying in Ibiza, to grown-up holidays with pure luxury. However, times have changed and I now choose from all of TUI’s amazing family friendly hotels.

Travelling with young children can be stressful, but I know with TUI hotels that all boxes are ticked. From an endless children's buffet which caters for my forever hungry 4-year-old, to the safe haven of the creche for my little one. When the creche and kids club grant me a blissful 2-hour window, you'll find me lost in the pages of a good book (which is the only time I get to pick up a book, we all know how busy life is with children!)

I am looking forward to answering all of your questions.”

Here’s what TUI has to say:
"When it comes to booking a holiday, we know everyone likes something different - from great value all inclusive deals with TUI Magic Life where kids can go free at selected hotels to our action packed Holiday Village options and our TUI BLUE for families hotels which cater for everyone and are handpicked just for your family.

Our holiday portfolio ticks off everything from beach holidays and city breaks through to lake and mountain getaways. We also offer tours that let you experience exotic places like Costa Rica, South Africa and Japan in a brand new way, and multi-destination trips with over 5,000 combinations to choose from. As one of the biggest UK holiday companies, we're here whenever you need us - via our stores, website or 24/7 Holidayline. Book your TUI holiday today for a £0 deposit when you pay via direct debit."

Thanks and good luck!

Have TUI reviewed their H&S policies and practices recently? During the recent wild fires in Greece, TUI were still flying passengers into Greece, even though some of their hotels had already been evacuated. Customers who had saved long and hard for a break ended up in awful situations, staying in local schools etc, as they had no hotel to go to. Other customers who wanted to cancel or defer were unable to claim back costs on their travel insurance, because TUI were still operating flights to the affected area.

Is there a way to search for accessible holidays? Travelling with a child in a wheelchair is proving to be difficult

Nofliesareonme · 18/08/2023 15:12

Are tui reps really available 24/7 in this age of internet and wfh?

cancan678 · 18/08/2023 15:14

We love apartment hotels but they can be hard to find. Where are they most common

HappiDaze · 18/08/2023 16:19

At a loss as to where to take 2 teen girls age 17 who want interesting things to do. Nice hotel / resort with pool near sandy beach. Not overlooked by other buildings. Preferably with other older teens for them to meet so not an adult only hotel full of couples. But also not a hotel full of younger DC taking over every pool as we've done that and they've grown out of that. I'd like somewhere nearby to explore and a hotel with a bit of atmosphere in the evenings but not big shows like they tend to have to entertain kids. No bingo or karaoke type entertainment.

Happy with apartments set in a great resort.

How must paediatric first aid training do reps have ? My worry is my child becoming ill and not knowing what to do and who to go to.

purplepandas · 18/08/2023 18:48

What holiday set up would you suggest for young teens ( one with sensory needs and difficulties with crowds)?

turkeyboots · 18/08/2023 18:51

Help me with taking teens on holiday. I have a 13 yo son and 16 yo girl. They won't share a room and I dontnwant to cook and clean so a villa/apartment is out. We've ended up with a girls and boys room on our last holiday, but I'd love a better solution.

Beach11 · 18/08/2023 19:06

Are the staff that run the activities for children DBS checked?

jacqui5366 · 18/08/2023 19:16

How would a Tui hotel deal with a child with dairy or wheat intolerances ?

zippitydoda · 18/08/2023 19:18

I want to go to Thailand and cram in as much as possible. We are in our 60s and can travel from London airports, with Sansted being best. Can be for up to 16 nights. Budget including spending £5/6K. Thank you.

DameEtna · 18/08/2023 19:20

I'd like to try an all inclusive holiday - I have 2 teens that go through food like locusts - but am put off by reports of big queues for buffets, rubbish food and dining rooms packed with thousands of guests....

Can you recommend a nice AI holiday?

Ellmau · 18/08/2023 20:01

Should one book excursions in advance or can you do it with a rep when you're there (specifically looking at Croatia at a hotel where they say there is a rep service, but does that mean daily or once during the holiday), especially if you don't have a smartphone and can't use apps? How often do they visit hotels?

Jagley · 18/08/2023 21:39

There are lots of people who need a quiet sensory friendly hotel. Could you add this as a search option? I have a young adult who likes all inclusive hotels/apartment complexes , but needs somewhere relatively quiet.

ohdannyboy · 19/08/2023 07:46

Is there anywhere I can see a food hygiene certificate for hotels who cater for large numbers of guests, or do TUI carry out unannounced food hygiene inspections - I really worry about getting food poisoning on holiday and would like to choose a hotel where there are good hygiene and food storage and prep arrangements

EmpressaurusOfCats · 19/08/2023 07:53

ALL of our travel questions? Can I use my contactless card on buses in the Milan area?

Banditqueen12 · 19/08/2023 08:10

For years TUI have added a rider to virtually every aspect of their holidays, that they are "looking into" whether a place or service is "accessible" or "suitable for people with reduced mobility" or whatever. When are you ACTUALLY going to look into it or do something about "looking into it". Holidays are not just for the young / healthy and older people or people with disabilities are increasingly sections of the population with greater disposable income to spend on holidays.

Attictroll · 19/08/2023 08:19

What is the best way to find proper family rooms on your site. I avoid tui as the website is not easy to search for rooms where it isn't one child shoved into a normal room with parents. Either family rooms etc

Pandax3 · 19/08/2023 08:44

What resorts would you recommend for a family with young children with a sandy beach and options to eat out and decent transport links for exploring? We've previously enjoyed Protaras in Cyprus, Puerto Pollensa in Majorca and Playa Blanca in Lanzarote.

Fourfurrymonsters · 19/08/2023 10:34

When are TUI going to stop promoting animal cruelty on their trips to captive dolphin facilities and “animal parks” where the animals were tied up with no water in incredibly high temperatures?
I raised this with both the rep in Tunisia, and HQ, almost 10 years ago in 2014, and was told that TUI are “giving the customer what they demand”. I haven’t booked with TUI since. Why, when other travel companies like Virgin have committed to boycott these facilities, are TUI still refusing to?

SnowyMouse · 19/08/2023 12:51

Is it possible to search for wheelchair accessible holidays, including transfer etc?

GuardiansPlayList · 19/08/2023 14:56

What are your best all inclusive resorts for Coeliacs? Doesn’t matter what country!

GuardiansPlayList · 19/08/2023 14:58

What are your best all inclusive resorts for Coeliacs? Doesn’t matter what country. Family with teens.

Dashel · 19/08/2023 15:54

We are a vegan family, apart from the Tui Blu hotels, what is the best way to find vegan friendly hotels and cruises?

CraftyGin · 19/08/2023 22:11

Our last many holidays, apart from visiting family, have been Thomson/Tui/Marella cruises. I can't really think of doing anything else.
