I was so delighted to be chosen for this campaign as Boden have such a gorgeous range and this season is no different.
My DD and I spent time choosing outfits and discussing why we liked the options we had picked. I loved the sea green top and liked how it had been styled with the white trousers on the website so requested this combination for me. As a working mum, white trousers were not an obvious choice but they are gorgeous for work and make me feel like a million pounds. I’ve recently lost weight and these are the first trousers I’ve found which really, truly fit.
I thought I may struggle with getting a choice from my DD but she was so taken with all the bright colours. It’s her go-to as an outfit for special occasions. She loves the skirt and fashionable nature of the cropped top. Not bad for a hard-to-please 10 year old tween, thanks Boden!

I thought long and hard whether I should post a photo with my face (rather than hiding it behind an emoji), but then thought part of my love for bright and happy clothes comes from the fact I am 53 years old, menopausal and at times struggling to make peace with my changing features.

Appearance-wise, I have found wearing great clothes can really help with my confidence and make me more feel comfortable with the new (older!) me.

When my hair went grey (after years of wrestling with dye) I decided to go short and lilac - so I love colourful clothes to compliment the new look. I loved the lilac in this dress (it matches my hair!), with the green stripe giving a slightly bolder look. Its super versatile too, will take me from the office, business meetings and then working at home. Love that wearing a dress makes picking an outfit so easy - one garment and we’re done!

The shoes are fab, and will go with a lots of other outfits - the buckle gives them a fab twist.

Can’t wait to see what everyone is wearing!

Thanks SO much Mumsnet and Boden for including me in this amazing product test. 💖I've basically needed a whole new wardrobe after losing 30kg so this came along at a very opportune time. In fact, getting excited about finding new clothes instead of absolute dread feels wonderful. The hardest part for me was deciding what to choose from all the fabulous clothes. I am loving the new collection, especially the tops.

So I chose the Alicia cutwork top, a cardigan and the girlfriend jeans in light vintage. Fitting in jeans again after avoiding them for years is a treat. So I'll start there - these jeans are the comfiest pair I've ever owned, hands down. Absolutely no exaggeration. The denim is really, really soft, there's a bit of stretch (but not so much that they sit weird) and they just look and feel like such good quality - a bit fancy. I turned mine up at the ends because I think that looks better with loafers and trainers. Seriously, don't sleep on it. If you want some jeans you can live in and not feel like you're being restrained, these are it. I'm going to try other styles now too, can't enthuse enough. 👖

The Alicia top is really beautifully made and I'm crazy about the embroidery. I don't believe in saving clothes just for special occasions but I don't think I'll wear this to clean out the shed. Linen/cotton mix is preferable to me because linen on its own creases so easily. I personally think this looks better tucked in (see pics) and I plan to wear it with a maxi skirt as I actually think this would work better than with jeans. It's very versatile and just the prettiest top. I struggle with tops sometimes as I'm a 34E but there are no gapes around the baps so would recommend if you're a similar shape.

My third thing was the Callie crochet cardigan and omg it's one of the nicest things I've ever owned. It's structured but not if that makes sense? 😁Bit oversized but I like that. I would happily wear it in place of a jacket and it's nice done up or undone. I'm mad about vibrant pinks in general and this is just ideal for me.

So far have worn the three pieces to nowhere more adventurous than the beer garden but it's early days and I plan on many more outings so will get more pics out in the wild.

Another "I need something else with this outfit" day! When I chose the dress and shoes I couldn't help spotting this bag and thinking how amazing it was. It didn't match the dress at all but I knew I'd find a place for it with some of my other outfits. As it happens, I moved all my daily stuff into it as soon as I received it and used every single day (even when it clashes - who cares!).

So this is my outfit which needs an uplift and I think the bag does that really nicely. The smile says it all!

I was so pleased to be chosen for this campaign! I love Boden and hsve always been really impressed with anything purchased from them. When I first visited the website I loved the overall collection and spent a long time choosing my items!

I tried the Eloise tiered jersey dress and absolutely loved it! It’s been worn a lot! It’s really flattering and fits me really well! I love the pockets and it hangs really nicely. I have worn this to the office and to daytime events and have been able to style this up and down and received a compliment each time I’ve worn it.
im not amazingly body confident but this dress made me feel really comfortable and less conscious due to the fit and hang.

It’s a really comfortable dress and has washed really well. I chose the dress in navy as thought I’d get a lot of use out of that colour but I’m going to purchase the purple colour as well having tried it out!

I also tried the Cutout short dress and chose it for the style and colour. It’s been absolutely great for the office and also for leisure wear. It’s incredibly comfortable and again hangs well and doesn’t crease.

I loved the cut out detail on the front and is partly why I chose it. Ive paired this dress with gold sandals and accessories on a relaxed night out and felt great.

Both dresses have been so well used and received and I’ve found them both to be so versatile. I’ve been really impressed with their quality and design.

DS had also tried out the slub polo shirt in broccoli and navy blue pull on cotton shorts. I’ve been so pleased with both of them. Again they have washed really well and kept their shape and the colours are really bold and haven’t dulled.

DS is super active so it’s important his clothes move with him and he said these were really soft and comfortable. He’s had a lot of wear out of them and enjoys wearing his broccoli t shirt!

I was so excited to be chosen, unfortunately the beautiful dress I was sent has a dodgy zip so I can't wear it. Boden customer service said they were unable to assist me as I didn’t place the order. Such a shame as was going to wear it to a wedding this weekend.

I’ve also really enjoyed reading other people’s stories on this thread of how they chose their outfits and how it made them feel. It inspires me to share my story too!

I’m in my 30s but have felt quite frumpy for a while and like I never know what to wear at times. My wardrobe is often stuck between clothes I’d wear in my 20s (but doesn’t look right anymore) vs smart workwear vs comfort items. Nothing pairs together that well and I’ve been thinking I need a style overhaul for some time. This Boden opportunity came at the perfect time for me to choose something that makes me look and feel great, and it’s honestly really helped me out with thinking about what I’d really like to wear throughout my 30s.

I chose the Ada blue stripe dress and have worn this dressed up and down for a few different occasions so far. I love the versatility of this dress, I’ve worn it with a few buttons undone either end for a more casual daytime look and also fully buttoned up with heels for an evening. I feel more like myself and particularly love the length, it’s a mid calf finish. The fabric is soft and loose fitting, it has been perfect in the sunnier weather recently. I think this dress has made me feel more confident as I feel comfortable and elegant, and it’s made me think about looking for calf length dresses and skirts as an alternative to my 20s mini dresses! Whilst on the Boden website I saw some other amazing pieces and it was actually so hard to limit myself, I would have easily bought half the stock if I could! I’ve had some very kind comments wearing this dress and my husband really likes it on me too which makes me feel good.

The childrenswear is so unbelievably cute and we have been so lucky to receive a few really lovely items including dungarees, leggings, t-shirts and socks for our little one. Whilst DC is too tiny to talk so I can’t share verbal feedback, I have definitely noticed how comfortable DC seems in the clothing and the fixation on the bright colours and interesting patterns. The fabric is very soft and washes well, there has been no pilling or shrinking etc.

And finally, as testament to Boden’s quality, about 10 years ago my mum gave me a denim jacket from Boden that she had worn for years. It was then and still is now in perfect condition. It’s been washed and worn again countless times and it’s one of my staple wardrobe items.

I was so pleased to be chosen for this campaign, having been a young mum with our first two children, who are now teenagers. I am considered an older mum to our 10-month-old. I had held off adding new clothes to my wardrobe, as nothing felt flattering - too young or too old! And I needed to have easy access for breastfeeding. For this reason, I chose staple pieces that can be worn in different ways. My favourite item by far is the bag; it fits so much in and is not very mumsy at all - it's just mine!! I found the boys' selection a bit disappointing; there were so many lovely girl outfits. In the end, I chose a lovely dungaree set that he has worn with and without the t-shirt; it is a lovely material and washes well.

This is such a generous campaign to be part of.

I was lucky enough that I could chose an outfit for both me and my son.
My son really likes bright, colourful clothes and we struggle to find things that fit the bill, but boden nailed the brief. Together we chose some green baggy shorts, as he already has some similar in style and loves them, a shirt for an upcoming wedding and a gorgeous jumper in a wonderful print. He was delighted with all of them, and though fun and special looking, they’re super easy to wear and wash. He’s worn them loads already.

I chose some wide green trousers and a bright pink shirt, with heeled sandals and a charm necklace. I wanted to wear the shirt and trousers together but the shirt wasn’t quite saturated enough in terms of colour - I matched it with a hot pink silk shirt for work and had so many compliments.
I found the sizing of the trousers a little off - big around the waist and tighter on the hips - but they still looked great.

The shoes are a particular hit. Comfortable and go with loads of things, both smarter and causal. I’ve worn them loads, more than I expected as they’re just so easy to pair with stuff in my wardrobe.

If I’m completely honest I often think of Boden as not really my style. But this has really proven me wrong: there was loads I could have chosen and that goes really well with my wardrobe.

I ordered a hippy maxi skirt and a black top. I also got a tote bag and some earrings. I didnt get the shoes i requested.
Im actually so pleased with the fit, and the way the skirt sits. Im going to get a photo and post after work.

This campaign was absolutely awesome. I picked some great choices and ended up with a gorgeous maxi dress which is such a lovely material and so flattering. My daughter also loved her rainbow dress and she cannot wait to wear it again when we go on holiday in August.

So I LOVE Boden for summer… all those bright patterns cheer me up. I always find good jeans and good swimwear here.

This year I bought my first pair of white jeans in about 10 years. Not twee at all & go with a lot of my wardrobe.

Last year I bought the midi length double cloth dress in red and I wear it lots. I’ve received so many compliments on it, that I’m considering buying the short version in green. There might be a bikini and a couple of other dresses in my Boden basket currently…

Unfortunately I’ve stopped shopping at Boden now that I know that Johnny Boden is a fox hunter. Shame because the clothes actually fit me. But hey ho.

Since I discovered Boden swimwear a couple of years ago I’ve never bought anything different. I particularly like the Levanzo bikinis as I don’t have much up top and they are really flattering. The fold over bottoms are my favourite. Bum coverage, don’t dig in, look great, what more could you want! To be honest , finding the swimwear so great has made me look more closely at Boden as a brand, there’s some great stuff with the quality I look for!

Love Boden, got loads over the years. Favourites are various tops and the odd jacket. Like the cashmere socks and love my smart grey leather handbag.

It was lovely opportunity to be able to choose a dress that I really loved rather than what was available in my size in the sale.

After the initial dissapointment of my first dress having a dodgy zip that made it impossible for me to wear. My 2nd choice the Rhea dress is perfect.

No matter what I buy from Boden it's always the softest material and always washes up well. They are durable and keep their shape. I love the fit of their dresses and have my eye on a navy number which would work well for so many occasions.
