Have you taken a TUI holiday with teenage kids that offered something for everyone?

Whether it was at a TUI hotel, a Marella cruise, or a Crystal Ski Holidays getaway, we’d love to hear about your favourite holiday experience with your teens. Or maybe you’ve planned one for this year? Share your experiences and recommendations in the comments below!

One lucky winner that takes part in the discussion will receive a £100 VEX voucher - T&Cs here.

Here’s what TUI have to say:

"At our TUI BLUE hotels with a Family Fun highlight, we’ve created a dedicated teens area exclusively designed for teenagers aged 12-15 with a range of activities tailored just for them. This includes beach and pool games, various challenges, and a fun evening party once a week. Available from June to September, it's the perfect way for teens to have a bit of independence and make new friends while on holiday. We also have plenty of hotels with on-site waterparks!

Our family-friendly ships are also well versed in keeping kids of all ages entertained with escape rooms, climbing walls, minigolf courses and indoor-and-outdoor cinemas on offer. The Hideout is a designated space for 12 - 17 year olds and adults and kids can also enjoy the Gamer Zone. What’s more, Marella Discovery 2 has recently introduced its first immersive interactive gaming experience, Play Wall, for the whole family to enjoy!"

You have until 15th April to comment and be entered into the prize draw. Good luck!

You will love Thailand @lovemyflipflops ! It's my favourite destination for so many reasons. The friendliest people, gorgeous food and weather. Enjoy!

@lovemyflipflops which hotel in Khao Lak? We are looking to book for April 2026 but not come across all inclusive.

Can I ask why your site doesn’t enable search by family rooms apartments-a double room all together sleeping in together ruins a holiday

We took my teenage son on a cruise and unlike previous holidays where he got bored and missed his friends, he loved everything about being on the cruise. Firstly, the endless buffets, the freedom, making friends was so easy and we were able to relax and enjoy ourselves without worrying about him too much (it was easy to keep an eye on him without his knowledge!) There was just so much for him to do - I reccommend a TUI cruise to anyone with teenage kids.

We took a tui holiday last year to paphos cyprus with our teens age 13 and 15. We loved how safe it felt and there were lots of places of interest for them to visit and fun places such as the waterpark and water sports. We chose all inclusive so they could eat and drink as much as they want including ice cream. Next time i think we would chose a hotel with more pools to and ones that are heated for them.

I've been looking at booking In Playa de Muro, Majorca, Balearic Islands, Spain, flight times - tick, pools tick, things to do tick - I can book all inclusive or room only and choose where to eat - tick.

Ali Bey Club in Turkey was amazing for all ages - waterpark, gym, activities for teens, adult pool and spa for the adults! Great range of foods and entertainment.

I've been looking at TUI BLUE Grupotel Turquesa Mar In Cala'n Bosch, Menorca, Balearic Islands, Spain - flight times being a plus for us - and the separate kids dining buffet for when there's nothing on the main menu, the discounts are really not to be missed and really appealing. We love Menorca for family holidays - plus the heat of other countries in peak time just puts us off too.

Weve booked a Tui Blue Hotel in Protaras this summer. DDs are interested in looking at the teen club activities. We used to live in the area, so are hoping the Cypriot food in the hotel lives up to what we used to have!

Its our first time having a summer AI holiday as a family... the last time was our honeymoon 15 years ago.

Weve had a couple of Crystal ski holidays previously. Weve always been impressed with the customer service as there was problems both times (one year France suddenly announcing British tourists could transit through them (Covid) and another year Bulgaria delaying their resorts opening. Both times we still got our holidays.

For us it has to be a bit of everything, pool, beach, shopping and culture, Rhodes looks like a great pick for us at this hotel holiday The hangout is somewhere we would make use of.

prawncocktailcrispss · 04/04/2025 10:37

The Lagoon Princess in Halkidiki looks like somewhere our family would choose ''The TUI BLUE Lagoon Princess goes big on child-friendly features and is pulled up right by a sandy beach.
Fun character parades, professional kids’ clubs and gardens filled with pools, equals the ideal family holiday set up. Plus, that’s combined with all of the extras that come with this hotel being a part of the TUI BLUE collection.''

Just sums up our requirements perfectly.

Aqualand Water Park in Corgu has everything we could want if the weather is good. Oh I wish we were there.

What’s this thread got to do with the title?

I clicked into

"Our Dubai holiday was outstanding for teens. So much to see and do"

nothing to do with Dubai but a Tui pitch. Multiple threads are now just clickbait.

Sounds like the kind of thing most 12-15 year olds would not like. Independence isn't being in a holiday club

benjaminjamesandgraham · 08/04/2025 09:42

We have been with Tui for years, from the little years of kids clubs, and now teens when we give them the option of going, or choosing to do an activity, but always giving a time and place to meet up - if they are late or don't turn up - we will retract this - asking them to stay with us - gives them time management skills. We've often stayed in Albufeira, The Algarve, Portugal - lovely country and short flight times

Britneyfan · 10/04/2025 12:02

@daniellouis which resort please? Sounds great!

Britneyfan · 10/04/2025 12:05

I’m so confused as to why a couple of people have mentioned Menorca here. Menorca is beautiful, I’ve been twice and it is PERFECT for primary age kids but I think it’s way too quiet with not enough to do for teens. I’m sure to some point it depends on the resort but still!

Britneyfan · 10/04/2025 12:08

Anyway I am really enjoying this thread and will keep watching for ideas, I don’t normally comment on sponsored threads, but holidays with teens aren’t talked about enough anywhere and it’s so hard to find good recommendations or search specifically for features teens will love, so specific resort recommendations are so helpful. And I do tend to default to Tui a lot of the time for holidays. Does anyone have a Mauritius resort they’d recommend for teens?

Britneyfan · 10/04/2025 12:19

@Britanniaa I have done a successful skiing holiday with my teen, not Tui though, as a single parent I went to Mayrhofen with singleparentsonholiday. Loads of other parents with their teens there, mostly teens in fact and mostly dads were the parents which is unusual from other single parent holidays I’ve been on and made a refreshing change!

I’m pretty sure this is where we stayed and it was gorgeous, they’ve done it up more since I was there though from the looks of things!

For clothes I bought us both super cheap skiwear from GoOutdoors, Dare2Be brand I think. Did the job well! If I was a super keen skier and going at least once a year I’d invest more as the zips didn’t seem super robust for the long term but this was perfect for a one-off trip without breaking the bank.

We hired boots and skis though the right boots are so crucial for comfort and performance both that if you are in any way likely to go more than once for you as an adult whose feet won’t grow I’d seriously think of buying my own.

@Attictroll I also totally agree, Tui really need to up their game on this! Also it would be nice if their website wasn’t so glitchy in general! And you should be able to save more holidays to your like section for comparison.

Gorondola · 14/04/2025 23:18

Winter holiday in Switzerland, not with TUI though. Teen did not complain for a minute!
