NOW CLOSED

With a chill in the air and sunny days few and far between, it’s the perfect time of year to snuggle up inside and watch TV with the family. Disney Junior would like to know what TV programmes you watch with your children and which characters you used to love from your childhood favourites.

Here’s what Disney Junior has to say: “Disney Junior invites kids into a magical world of fun & imagination. Your little ones can join in the adventure with their favourite friends Vampirina, The Lion Guard, PJ Masks, Mickey & The Roadster Racers and Muppet Babies every weekday from 3pm.”

So, is your family a fan of funny animated shows? Perhaps adventure programmes keep everyone entertained? Do you like seeing characters that you loved as a child reimagined for your children?

Please share your favourite family TV programmes below and you will be entered into a prize draw to win a £300 voucher of your choice (from a list).

Thanks

DD loves Winx Club and Mia & Me and Spirit.

When she was younger she loved Sofia, Elanor of Avalon and The Lion Guard.

Together we watch Friends on a loop.

deathtoallsnorers · 23/02/2019 23:14

My girls favourites are
Pj Masks, Blaze and the monster machines, Paw Patrol, The lion guard and we're going on a bear hunt.
In that order!

janekirk · 23/02/2019 23:15

Orangepear · 24/02/2019 15:19

We all like Bagpuss in our house, it's so relaxing! No Disney channel here so we also watch CBeebies, I prefer them to watch shows with real people in, e.g. Show Me Show Me, rather than cartoons.

SuzCG · 24/02/2019 16:01

When mine were younger they LOVED Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and sang the tune incessantly...

It used to drive me potty!

These days they spend most of their time watching funny animal clips on YouTube.
How I long for those days gone by...

magentastardust · 24/02/2019 16:23

My youngest loves all things Lion Guard , she also enjoys vampirina and PJ masks.
She also likes re runs of Wizards of Waverly place and Good luck Charlie..and secretly so do I !

Gazelda · 24/02/2019 17:54

I'd recommend Tracey Beaker and The Dumping Ground to anyone. Each episode is so well thought out and gives the opportunity to open discussions with DD about subjects that might not ordinarily come up in everyday life.

aimees75 · 24/02/2019 19:32

My three year old twins are mad for PJ Masks!

lillypopdaisyduke · 24/02/2019 20:40

GriseldaChop · 24/02/2019 21:50

My son loves lots of different programmes, he's into Curious George at the minute but is also developing a sense of humour and enjoys things like Gigglebiz with the comedy sketches. When I was younger I loved Bagpuss - showing my age!

Ohlittlepea · 24/02/2019 22:06

My daughter loves Doc Mcstuffins, her other fave TV shows are Hey Duggee and Trues magical wishes. Frozen and Moana are her most loved films. It's a bit weird gettibg used to the amount of choice avaliable now compared to when I was young.

Bez33 · 25/02/2019 07:32

We all love gigglebiz! It’s so funny. My 18m old actually asks for it. And my 4 year old loves the jokes. My dad even records it! So that’s definitely a big hit with us.

Honeywort · 25/02/2019 08:18

We are all enjoying buffy the vampire slayer on prime - kids early teens now though. When they were smaller, dr who, was definitely the programme the whole family looked forward to.

Foodylicious · 25/02/2019 09:11

My son loves PJ Masks, Marvel, teen titans go, Pokemon, Transformers

misskatamari · 25/02/2019 10:24

Pj masks is a big favourite here. I didn't realise here was new muppet babies, I'll look it up as loved it when I was little

loopylou1984 · 25/02/2019 12:42

My two year old twins currently love Ben and Holly's little kingdom, or fancy Nancy Clancy.

I can't wait until they're old enough to enjoy the classic Disney films with me.

tessica2 · 25/02/2019 12:43

My daughter is interested in most cartoons but only really seems to recognise In the night garden at the moment. She'll be transfixed for the whole episode. She doesn't mind peppa pig too

FindPrimeLorca · 25/02/2019 15:37

My DC are somewhat older now and the only things that all four of us will happily watch together are Mythbusters, Futurama and Disenchanted (the Matt Groening fantasy show). I have high hopes that Good Omens might hit the spot though.

When they were younger, our family favourites were Dangermouse (either new or old school versions) and the highly underrated Secret Show. Tbh we still reach for both of those if we have a spare half hour to fill.
