NOW CLOSED

With a chill in the air and sunny days few and far between, it’s the perfect time of year to snuggle up inside and watch TV with the family. Disney Junior would like to know what TV programmes you watch with your children and which characters you used to love from your childhood favourites.

Here’s what Disney Junior has to say: “Disney Junior invites kids into a magical world of fun & imagination. Your little ones can join in the adventure with their favourite friends Vampirina, The Lion Guard, PJ Masks, Mickey & The Roadster Racers and Muppet Babies every weekday from 3pm.”

So, is your family a fan of funny animated shows? Perhaps adventure programmes keep everyone entertained? Do you like seeing characters that you loved as a child reimagined for your children?

Please share your favourite family TV programmes below and you will be entered into a prize draw to win a £300 voucher of your choice (from a list).

Thanks

PJ masks, choo choo soul and the Octonaughts are way up there.

daniel1996 · 22/02/2019 18:38

We love little Einsteins and the Octonaughts ."Octonauts, let's do this", "Sound the Octo-Alert!", "Octonauts, to the launch bay!" "Hold on, this could get bumpy". Smile

Its all about Hey Duggy in this house! I also enjoy Ben and Holly which he will watch from time to time.

gamerwidow · 22/02/2019 18:43

Me and DD love Adventure Time and Lemony Snickets Unfortunate Series of Events.

Valkarie · 22/02/2019 19:53

Pj masks, paw patrol and Rusty Rivets are the favourite of ds1. I like Rusty the best as it is about creating things and his female friend is treated equally and not covered in pink. Paw patrol bugs me as there is only one pink female main and she often gets excluded from merchandise. She is ds1 favourite, so he always asks where she is.

Dd 4 and ds 3 love Paw Patrol and Peppa Pig! We love to watch old classics like Bagpuss and Postman pat together

Ghostlyfeet · 22/02/2019 21:21

Muppet Babies. My 3.5 year old is obsessed with it and Mickey Mouses Club House. She sings along with the muppet babies and dances like Minnie at the end of club house; looking at her shoes!!

SuziQ10 · 23/02/2019 16:52

My 4.5 year old DD is really into watching Bingo and Rolle (puppy dog pals) on Disney. And her favourite, Muppet Babies! She got into these after a recent trip to Disney world. These shows are not easily available or talked about much in the UK but she would love to watch them over in the USA and she watches online through iPad now we're back home.
She is into Vamparina and collects the collects the toys!
She also likes watching LOL doll / LOL surprises toy demos on YouTube, along with Ryan's Toy Review.

My favourite show when I was a child was Eliza and the Thornburys. No idea what channel it was on.

I like watching old Disney movies with my children at weekends. Yesterday we watched Peter Pan the original.

Sierra259 · 23/02/2019 18:35

My absolute favourite kids show is Sarah and Duck - I'll be devastated when they don't want to watch it any more! Also love the Octonauts as it's actually really interesting. We also like Blaze and the Monster Machines and PJ Masks.

Marsis · 23/02/2019 18:44

Vampirina and PJ masks are currently popular with DD4

GwynethsToothKale · 23/02/2019 18:58

Thankfully we have just finished the Peppa Pig phase. It's only been 9 years of it on constant repeat! Now my youngest who is 5 adores the series of Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs and also old Shaun the Sheep.
My eldest loves reruns of Jessie which we actually like too.

ruleofthree · 23/02/2019 19:02

The new favourite is Doc Mcstuffin but it doesn't seem to be on much at the moment, also Blaze and the monster machines and butter bean cafe.

TweetleBeetlesBattle · 23/02/2019 19:50

Do you know from Cbeebies. Loves finding out things and the presenter is really engaging

UnalliterativeGeorge · 23/02/2019 22:33

UnalliterativeGeorge · 23/02/2019 22:34

Oh and the cars movie on repeat at the minute as they're obsessed with lightning McQueen
