NOW CLOSED

It’s no secret that kitchens house potentially dangerous items that are intriguing to a toddler set on exploring. With this in mind, Fairy Non Bio would like to find out how you fare at spotting hazards in the kitchen. Take this quiz to find out and share how you get on below.

Here’s what Fairy Non Bio has to say: “There is nothing more special than watching your little one take their first steps or hearing them say their first words. These incredible moments will stay with us as parents forever but with them come new things to watch out for. As little explorers grow and begin discovering the world, the risks around them change, too. For Fairy Non Bio, we want to spread the word to keep your laundry detergents safely away from little hands. Click close lids, store products up high and be aware of where your child is when you are doing the washing.”

Whether you can spot hazards without thinking or need to brush up on your safety skills, share your score below to be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £300 voucher for the store of their choice (from a list).

Thanks and good luck!

6/7 but only because I was too slow with the first one 😄

OutComeTheWolves · 19/12/2018 04:15

Erm well I didn't realise it was timed so the first time I got 2/7 Blush. Then I tried again and got 7/7.

OrdinaryGirl · 19/12/2018 06:58

7/7.
I'd worry if any parent scored lower than that though... 😳

claza93 · 19/12/2018 07:04

5/7 - whoops! Bit slow on this one - trying to hold a baby at the same time as doing the quiz haha

LadyChatterlysLoofah · 19/12/2018 08:11

6/7 because of fat fingers mainly. Second that back burners always by choice on a hob......and also think that pods (major hazard for children) are a totally unnecessary product. I get the convenience, but there are already tablets option, and gel laundry products never rinse out properly, wouldn't choose them.

GaryBaldbiscuit · 19/12/2018 08:15

yup,4 but retried

phillie1 · 19/12/2018 08:40

7/7

Startoftheyear2018 · 19/12/2018 09:15

I did terribly! Useful quiz though.

steppemum · 19/12/2018 09:30

rubbish quiz.

  1. give a close up picture of a hazard and then surprise surprise you notice the hazard. Should have bigger picture and try to find the hazards
  2. I clicked on the wine glass, but I clicked on the stem not the top, so it didn't register. I clicked on pan handle, but it wanted you to click on the pan itself.
  3. the page is so annoying, it doesn't fit on the computer screen, so keep having to scroll down to click next, for next page.
  4. All hazards were so glaringly obvious.

Aworldofmyown · 19/12/2018 11:41

7!

jacknutter · 19/12/2018 12:24

6 out of 7, thought saucepan at end was more dangerous than wine glass!

Shannonbradbury96 · 19/12/2018 13:05

I got 7/7 not nad considering I don't have children yet.

lorrainej162 · 19/12/2018 13:34

I got 6 out of 7, clicked wrong in number 1!

choccyp1g · 19/12/2018 13:39

I saw more than one hazard in several of the pictures. But clicked "correctly" on 6/7

MrWriter · 19/12/2018 13:43

100% Perfect! Halo

shutthedamndoor · 19/12/2018 14:27

This is a quiz?
It's not really a challenge is it?
In the kitchen you'll find sharp knives and hot pans...
6/7 because the first photo of the great big pan confused me. I mean, if I'm standing that close to it then how is it a hazard? There are no children in the picture so I assumed they were in a safely padded room somewhere...

picklemebaubles · 19/12/2018 14:40

7/7 a little obvious...

JR25 · 19/12/2018 16:55

7/7. But I'm sure there were more than 7!

BillywigSting · 19/12/2018 16:59

7/7

All pretty basic stuff. I'd be a bit worried about a parent who couldn't spot all of these tbh.

lolamia91 · 19/12/2018 18:14

I got 6/7

Jeffingandeffing · 19/12/2018 18:15

5/7 - obviously grown complacent now my kids are older! Grin

Blainalass · 19/12/2018 18:24

5/7 - I was seeing all sorts of things as hazards!
