The Christmas period is a great opportunity to spread joy - whether through kind actions, the giving and receiving of gifts, or just spending quality time with loved ones. In light of #Cadvent this year, Cadbury would like to hear about what you’d wish for this Christmas.

Here’s what Cadbury have to say about Cadvent: “This year, Cadbury will be spreading extra Christmas magic throughout the whole festive season by making Cadvent wishes come true in the lead up to the big day. Wishes will be granted up and down the country as Cadbury countdown to Christmas with the best advent calendar yet. Is it snow that you wish for this year, or is it the ultimate Christmas tree? Or perhaps delicious Cadbury chocolate for all your family and friends! Take a peek through the calendar doors to see the wishes granted so far.

So, whether you’d wish for a shiny new piece of technology, you have a creative idea to give back to your community or loved ones, or you’d just like to have all of your family together, share this below to be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £300 Love2Shop voucher.

Thanks and good luck!

I wish for family members to forget their grievances and come together for Christmas...

easter1965 · 03/12/2017 17:30

I would wish for all my older children to be very young again, I miss our Christmas's how they used to be, the magic seems to disappear each year as they get older. I'd go through everything again just to see them growing up and not be so independent which I miss so much

janeyf1 · 03/12/2017 17:36

For my mother's health to improve, for personal relationships to improve and for a windfall

Ikea1234 · 03/12/2017 17:50

I'd wish for a hassle free, argument free Christmas, and a lovely, relaxed day. My mums dementia means that this could be tricky, as she has been transformed since being struck down with it, but fingers crossed we can all get through the day unscathed!

I will be counting my blessings though, and will be buying a place for a homeless person in a local shelter for the Christmas period, as I know we are more fortunate than others, and believe in paying it forward.

For my two children not to get competitive over games this year and end up scabbling!

vonniebab2 · 03/12/2017 17:50

I wish health and happiness to all my family and friends

MSHGW · 03/12/2017 17:51

I wish for all the people sleeping rough to have a roof over their heads, and all those going hungry to get the food they need.

prwilson · 03/12/2017 17:56

I think a nice family get-together would be my first wish.

lizd31 · 03/12/2017 18:00

I actually got my wish although it's one I wish I didn't have. I finally got a diagnosis for what's wrong with me although I had to diagnose myself because my doctors kept telling me there was nothing wrong but I was getting more & more sick after my rheumatologist took me off my Methotrexate so I did lots of research & found a very rare condition called Relapsing Polychondritis & all my symptoms & all the weird things that have been happening since I came off my meds finally made sense so I fought to get an emergency appointment & was told that I was right with my diagnosis so I have another emergency appointment tomorrow to see how they can best treat it as it is so rare. I feel like sueing my GPs for negligence as, if I hadn't diagnosed myself, it could have been fatal if left untreated. I always used to tell my friends off for googling their symptoms but I had no choice in this case as my GPs just kept fobbing me off & I knew they were wrong as one of them even told me I don't have glands behind my ears & at the back of my head & 3 of them told me I didn't have fluid in my ears & refused to refer me to an ENT specialist so I had to pay to go private & was diagnosed with middle ear effusion which is fluid in the middle ear.

All I really want for Christmas is to spend a happy day with my family.

AnimalAddict · 03/12/2017 18:16

For all of the family to have a fantastic Christmas & snow would be brilliant! :)

Narnianescape · 03/12/2017 18:21

I'm wanting the kids to be content and happy

mo3733 · 03/12/2017 18:22

to have a happy healthy love filled christmas for my family

holey · 03/12/2017 18:26

I wish for everyone to be kind to each other. When you say something that isn't kind, often you forget it in a moment but the person you said it to may be affected by it for a lifetime.

And if I get two wishes I also wish that someone would invent the zero calorie mince pie Grin

twinklenic · 03/12/2017 18:29

My ideal wish would be to removed povety and inequality in the world, but my personal wish would be for my family to be healthy and happy

feefeegabor · 03/12/2017 18:38

I would really really like a 1950s jukebox so I can play all my old singles. Is that sad?

finleypop · 03/12/2017 18:39

My wish is for new feet, but failing that, some pretty shoes that are comfortable for me to wear!

Dapootz · 03/12/2017 18:42

I’d wish for a week at a luxury spa to recover from all of the Christmas stress!

devito92 · 03/12/2017 18:43

A lovely xmas diner

Tanfastic · 03/12/2017 18:48

I wish for a year of health and happiness and a rather more settled year than this one....if I was to choose a pressie it'd be a lovely soft leather black biker jacket 😊👍🏼

ChocolateCake1 · 03/12/2017 18:49

I'd love to have a big Christmas meal with all my family and our neighbours over Christmas as times like these are so special and often overtaken by giving gifts.

Apart from the usual lottery win to live comfortably forever I'd wish that all my beloved family and friends will get to spend many more happy and healthy Christmas's together.

ozbird1 · 03/12/2017 19:13

I wish that I could turn back time and not say some things I have 😔
It's too easy just to come out with things and then regret the forever

Kaykee · 03/12/2017 19:14

Well, my family and I will be made homeless just after Christmas so all I wish for is a safe secure home for us to spend many more christmases so my boys aren’t worrying about where we will be next Christmas
