The Christmas period is a great opportunity to spread joy - whether through kind actions, the giving and receiving of gifts, or just spending quality time with loved ones. In light of #Cadvent this year, Cadbury would like to hear about what you’d wish for this Christmas.

Here’s what Cadbury have to say about Cadvent: “This year, Cadbury will be spreading extra Christmas magic throughout the whole festive season by making Cadvent wishes come true in the lead up to the big day. Wishes will be granted up and down the country as Cadbury countdown to Christmas with the best advent calendar yet. Is it snow that you wish for this year, or is it the ultimate Christmas tree? Or perhaps delicious Cadbury chocolate for all your family and friends! Take a peek through the calendar doors to see the wishes granted so far.

So, whether you’d wish for a shiny new piece of technology, you have a creative idea to give back to your community or loved ones, or you’d just like to have all of your family together, share this below to be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £300 Love2Shop voucher.

Thanks and good luck!

Financial security for all!

addverbaan · 05/12/2017 00:15

I would love to see my Sister as christmas time, however she is in Australia so it won't happen :(

RiSo · 05/12/2017 06:01

If wishes really could be granted, I would wish for the end to hatred, both terrorism and bullying, so that people could go about their lives in peace. Seeing as that is never going to happen though, I would wish for a new phone for my husband as his current one is rubbish but we have ages to go til his contract is up!

PeasAndHarmony · 05/12/2017 07:01

I'd wish for a miracle recovery for a friend who's cancer diagnosis has just become terminal. Cannot even imagine how she is feeling knowing this is probably the last Christmas she will spend with her young kids.

On a lighter note I also wish that I didn't have to shell out £270 for a Nintendo switch for DS but it is the ONLY thing he wrote on his xmas list Xmas Shock

AdamBarlowsQuiff · 05/12/2017 09:50

A money tree popping up would be good! Snow on Xmas day would be magical too.

I think mostly wish for the family all to be together .. we live over 500miles apart my sister gave birth 3 months ago and I'm yet to meet my nephew so.. just some family time x

Cd89 · 05/12/2017 11:43

I’d like to bring families together and ensure that no one is alone this Christmas

Abominus · 05/12/2017 12:46

I'd be happy enough with a quiet, peaceful and relaxing Christmas. Not always possible, but i live in hope. Oh, and i wouldn't mind a big ol' 4K TV to watch Christmas movies on.

llynnnn · 05/12/2017 14:12

I would wish for a healthy and happy Christmas for all those around me

sammylea80 · 05/12/2017 15:42

I wish to throw a family party for my 87 year old Nan :) she's still the life and soul of the party!

Snurf · 05/12/2017 16:20

I wish for health and happiness for all of course!
On a more selfish note I wish that Cadbury would make their 1kg bar more easily available! My husband has a fancy for one (he has fond memories of receiving one for Christmas as a teen many moons ago!) and apparently a 800g bar together with a 200g one just isn't the same!

Sierra259 · 05/12/2017 17:12

I would love a cash windfall, like a small lottery win. Things are a bit tight atm and even a few thousand would just take a lot of stress away.

Sorry, totally the wrong thread! 🙈

Ranita · 05/12/2017 18:31

A family get together where no one falls out!

WonderLime · 05/12/2017 18:47

A decent nights sleep would be wonderful, but I will settle for just a little time to myself 😊

CactusJelly00 · 05/12/2017 18:54

To not spend it on my own.
Sad

rhinosuze · 05/12/2017 19:03

I'd like happiness and health for my family and friends and more harmony in the world. Also I'd love some diamond earrings but won't get any!

jandoc · 05/12/2017 19:16

I would like a holiday in the sunshine

vickyors · 05/12/2017 20:19

I wish we could see my in laws in South Africa more often. And I'd want people to spend less on presents. The talking about how massive your presents were is really hard if you can't afford massive or expensive gifts.

Mozarmstrong · 05/12/2017 20:49

That my daughter has the best wedding abroad and just maybe I could see her

svalentine60 · 05/12/2017 20:53

For my daughter to be with us this Christmas. She died in xmas 2015 and everything else pales in comparison to that.

StealthPolarBear · 05/12/2017 20:59

Of course x

haveacupoftea · 05/12/2017 21:30

I wish for a lotto win. Millionaire raffle would do nicely

johnsonp100 · 05/12/2017 23:12

I’d love to be able to go away for the week with all of the family and spend ‘quality’ time together away from it all, by the sea!
