Luvabella would love to hear how your baby, toddler or pre schooler surprised you with their love for you! We all know this age can be tricky with sleepless nights, the "terrible twos", but that small people are also amazing at surprising you with a display of pure love. How does your LO surprise you with love - is it when you’re feeling low and they know just what to say, when they crack the biggest smile just for you, when they go to nursery and plant a big kiss on your cheek to say goodbye or when a special picture is created which you have to display on the fridge?

The team at Luvabella say “Discover so many real baby surprises with Luvabella! From the moment she opens her eyes and giggles, Luvabella will amaze you with her true-to-life facial expressions and personality! She moves, talks and plays just like a real baby. Through touch and play she affectionately responds to your love. Cover her eyes for a game of peek-a-boo, tickle her tummy and toes to make her giggle, or place a hand on her chest to gently listen to her heartbeat. You can even hold her feet to hear her say “mumma” and begin to babble! The more you play with her, the more she’ll talk. Her babble will transform into over 100 clear words and phrases! Caring for Luvabella is fun with her four interactive accessories! Use her spoon to feed her and she’ll chew with delight! If she’s not full, she may ask you for more. After her meal, help Luvabella learn new animal names and sounds with her Lamby toy! If she gets fussy, all she needs is her soother. When it’s time to go to bed after a big day of play, lull her to sleep with her bottle. Get to know all of Luvabella’s real baby surprises! 4 x C batteries required (not included). For ages 4 years and over.”

Add your comment to this thread and you will be entered into a prize draw where TWO winners will get - not only a £150 Argos voucher but also their very own Luvabella doll (a blond one) - worth £100.

Thanks and good luck

My lo birthday last year daddy ate my piece of cake whilst I was work, so I was jokingly annoyed with daddy how dare he ect, 6 months later her brothers first birthday we cut the cake and gave lo some, and she gave it back to me and said because daddy ate yours you can have mine mummy, I love you and have me a kiss, how she remembered and cared enough to give me hers still overwhelmes me

I recently had an operation on my foot. After someone else trod on it and I let out a muffled scream, DS (4) spent the next few days performing the role of 'exclusion zone' which involved walking in front of my everywhere I went shouting 'don't step on Mummy's poorly foot!!'

MiniMileyMoo · 03/11/2017 19:25

My 2.5 year old is non-verbal and not likely to talk anytime soon due to various genetic problems....however he has just learnt how to sign ‘mummy’ and ‘love’ which is just amazing! 💜

sweir1 · 03/11/2017 20:08

With random kisses and cuddles!

naykinz · 03/11/2017 20:11

My little girl loves to hold my fingers in her hand and gently squeeze three times to say "I love you". I find it extremely sweet and she does it at the most random of times. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for this competition as she'd love the Luvabella doll for Christmas. Good luck everyone x

My littlest is the cutest - always tells us she loves us, says things like ‘oh, you are so kind mummy/daddy’ ‘i love you so much’ or similar. The other day we were all getting ready for school / work / nursery and she came up to her dad and gave him a big hug and said ‘oh daddy you smell so good, you are so yummy’ which made us all laugh as she was smelling his leg.

Zebee · 03/11/2017 21:35

I love when they just want a hug for no reason other than that they love you.

LovelyBranches · 03/11/2017 22:51

My DS has punished me for a while for having DD. It’s been really hard, but then the other day I was sitting on the floor and he just came up behind me, put his arms around my shoulders and said ‘love you Mammy’. I absolutely melted.

3 year old son when I come back from the hairdresser "You look beautiful mummy!"
DH: "yes she does, doesn't she..."

7 year old son on Christmas day: unintelligible shouting at me at crazy o'clock
me: stop shouting at me (quite annoyed)
son : "I LOVE YOU MUMMY!" (he had just opened his Lego present)

AlfieandAnnieRose · 04/11/2017 09:15

My baby would mouth my chin which I liked to think was his way of giving me a kiss! Now he's one he's just got the hang of giving kisses and will sometimes hold your face and give his version of a kiss which is so cute! It doesn't happen very often so it's always a nice surprise!

Davenotdave · 04/11/2017 13:28

My 2 year old doesn't often show affection. The other day he came and hugged knew and told me I was his best friend. I nearly burst.

Iggity · 04/11/2017 13:30

My son DC tell me I am the best mummy in the world. Is nice to hear😀

theothersideoftheworld · 04/11/2017 15:44

My boy says ‘mummy you smell lovely ‘ and when I ask him what I smell like he says ‘like my mummy’ . Better than any perfume 😊.

Candyperfumegirl · 04/11/2017 16:52

My eldest looked after me when I was poorly last week, bless 🙃

FlyingFordAnglia · 04/11/2017 20:26

15 mo DS2 started making kissing sounds. At first he was just copying me, but now comes up regularly and gives me kisses! It’s heart warming to know he loves me.

DrDiva · 04/11/2017 20:43

I have an early riser. No matter what. Hmm one morning he was calling for me at 5 am. Eventually I caved and went in, and said grouchily “WHAT??!!”
Cue DS: “mummy, I love you so much I just couldn’t wait to kiss you.”

mata777 · 04/11/2017 20:43

Tonight my 3 year old said: "Can I sit on your lap to watch the fireworks?" (from our window) "Do you want to see better?" "No, I want to watch them with you." " Sit next to me, then." "I said WITH you, not NEXT to you!". She then gave me a big cuddle everytime she got excited about fireworks.

ClaireJ89 · 04/11/2017 20:46

my 4 year old son is absolutely amazing and sometimes will stroke my face and hair and say "I love you so much mummy"
the sweetest boy, I'm so lucky

Mallowmarshmallow · 04/11/2017 21:12

My 18 month old is strong willed and minded little person, she has massive, big emotions far bigger than her casing can cope with and we spend a lot of our evenings discussing how to harness all of her wonderful attributes in the right direction to carry her through life.

At the end of the day, though, however tough it has been, those very last cuddles in the chair in her bedroom are our grounding, loving moments.

fivekidsonemum · 04/11/2017 22:02

When my daughter comes running down the ramp from nursery and flings herself into my arms and shouts with a huge grin "yay mummy my bestest friend" and gives me a picture she's painted of us doing something crazy like standing ontop of a plane or skateboarding Grin it melts my heart & makes me feel loved and warm no matter how bad a day I've had.

giveovermypreciousss · 04/11/2017 22:44

My nearly 2 year old will give me the biggest cuddle and so many slobbery kisses that I have to come up for air. He is adorable!

EasterRobin · 04/11/2017 22:58

My DD wows me with her generosity when I am feeling down. She brings me her favourite toys, cuddles me and tries her hardest to read my books to me, despite not being able to read.

Sashkin · 04/11/2017 23:02

DS pulls my glasses off my face and chews them.

He’s only 7 months though. He can work up to the notes and paintings Grin

GruffaloPants · 04/11/2017 23:15

My D1 gives me little notes that say "I love you".
DD2 loves to steal a kiss Nd a cuddle, and runs at me cheering when I get home.

happiestcamper · 05/11/2017 08:45

My little girl dosnt surprise me with love for me but for her daddy. I didn't have a dad growing up so her relationship with him is super special. She once announced she was going to marry either daddy or Jesus. This was all very new to me but I wouldn't have it any other way
