Lasagne with a green salad

It has to be ice-cream - I can't live without it!

All types of pizza, great for summer picnics and of course Italian gelato, pistachio is my favourite

Warmed bue rosso (beef) salad with artichokes, chilli and walnuts. I tried a Gino recipe and it was absolutely delicious and perfect for warm summer nights.

A lovely pasta salad

I love seafood linguine with a salad. Served with Lambrusco...

A plate of antipasti, bruschetta, tomatoes and olives with a glass of Pinot Grigio sounds like a great summer meal - add in warm sunshine, friends or family - what more could you want !

Caprese salad, tasty and ideal for summer..we have quite often during the summer months :-)

My favourite summer dish would be Lasagne with salad

Macedonia di Frutta refreshing in the summer after any meal

I love italian food , my favorite right now is Italian stuffed chicken

On balance, I think I'd have to say bruschetta, followed by caprese salad

Both light and delicious, plus use up the glut of tomatoes in the garden at this time of year.

Tun dried tomatoes and Mediterranean vegetables mixed together in a fresh pasta with pesto

My fav summer dish is Jamie Oliver's Pasta Pepperonata :-) So lovely with a green salad and some garlic bread on the side and eaten outdoors!

Buffalo mozzarella, tomato and rocket, drizzled with balsamic.

You can't beat tiramisu.

My ultimate italian recipe is Jamie Olivers vegetable summer lasagne . . It's soooo tasty

We love fresh Courgettes from the garden and make a Lemon & Courgette Pasta dishes.

Carbonara for me! Nothing beats a good one :)

Panzanella for me too. To be honest, I add in whatever salad ingredients need to be used up so it is always different.

All Italian food is amazing but I do like a salad drizzled with olive oil alongside a meat dish or say some Ravioli...
