In the run-up to the release of ‘The Angry Birds Movie’, from Sony Pictures, we are very excited to announce a new addition to the range of emoticons on Mumsnet – The Angry Bird! Angry Bird

The Angry Birds Movie Synopsis:

In the 3D animated comedy, The Angry Birds Movie, we'll finally find out why the birds are so angry. The movie takes us to an island populated entirely – or almost entirely- by happy, flightless birds. In this paradise, Red (Jason Sudeikis, We're the Millers, Horrible Bosses), a bird with a temper problem, speedy Chuck (Josh Gad in his first animated role since Frozen), and the volatile Bomb (Danny McBride, This Is the End, Eastbound and Down) have always been outsiders. But when the island is visited by mysterious green piggies, it’s up to this trio of unlikely outcasts to work out what the pigs are up to.

You can read more about the film here.

To celebrate, Sony Pictures want to hear your best ‘Angry Bird Moments’. So do share them here - whether it be your biggest pet peeve, a moment that got your feathers well and truly ruffled, or something that made you want to break everything in the room, in true Angry Birds style!

As an extra challenge, try to work the new emoticon into your post.

I can't remember my last angry bird moment. Life's too short to get that upset and besides when I do have one I always come out of it shaking and crying with rage. I then rage for another couple of hours at the injustice of it all and end up feeling like a wrung out rag. I've learned it just ain't worth it!

I like things tidy, so when things are not put away by someone who is capable of putting it away. The Angry Bird can come out in me.

We were walking along a back lane near where we live, when we saw a little gull chick scurrying ahead of us. Within seconds, we were being so ferociously attacked by her parents that we had to turn back and find another route.

The emoticons don't seem to be working, using IE11.

My 'angry brds' moment happened last week.

My daughter had been nagging us to get booked into the 'expensive' hotel where her wedding was being held.

We booked in and I texted her to confirm. She replied, asking did you use the discount code?

Which code?

She had forgotten to give us the flippin' code, we could have saved a fortune!

Two days ago I had an Angry Bird moment when DH kindly brought in laundry from the washing line and folded it all up. I was putting DD washing away and I was all still soaking wet. He then tried up convince me it was dry. Grrrr. Maybe it's the pregnancy hormones but I went MAD!!!!!!

When other women call my wife babe. I give them a real mouthful and tell that her name is Joan. Or when women does this silly routine where they go to kiss you at either side of the head while at the same time making over exaggerated noises.

People that spit in the street! Gets me so mad I actually want to cry it's so disgusting and wrong! 😷😷😨😨

When adverts come on the baby channels! Compensation or money ones... Children get bored and end up messing around grrrr😣

Also people that look at you when your children are playing up or even having fun.... As if you shouldn't be there with children especially shops... It's like the pretty women moment all over again 😭😭

People who smoke around their children! it's wrong and not the child's choice

And haha I can go on and on... People who chew in the cinema or make lots of noise

When shops forget to give you your bank card back and you forget it and have to go back 😭

Toys that are screwed into the box at Christmas or birthdays..... If you haven't got a screw driver close your stuck!

OK rant over 😀

My Angry Bird moment - when people judge my son. He looks normal, he is normal - he has quirks. He can't help his ASD moments - but I don't need the 'young mums can't control their kids' comments. Yes I had him young, but he is well disciplined, a charming young man who just has his moments when overwhelmed.

My 'best' Angry Birds Angry Bird moment has to be my worst! Its when my husband discovered the game and would play it all the time (fortunately he's got it out of his system now) but I got so fed up with the squeals, whizzes and bang noises I nearly threw his tablet out of the window

One of my Angry Bird moments is when someone asks you a question (they aren't at all interested in your answer) just so they can then reply to it with their own answer and talk about themselves.

When I was younger, i'd put about 130 hours into levelling a character in a video game I was playing at the time.. and my memory card became corrupt and I lost everything. I have never experienced rage like I did that day.

My husband still talks about this day nearly 15 years on and it was i spent nearly 2 hours on my hair, first a hair mask followed by washing and conditioning. Then blow drying and styling. Only to step out of the house and to be hit by a massive gust of wind and by the time i got to the car my hair looked like a bush. I marched back in the house and refused to go out for the rest of the day. In my defence it was a certain time of the month
