To celebrate the launch of DisneyLife, the new digital membership service from Disney, they'd love to hear about your favourite Disney films from your childhood and whether you've shared this film with your DCs.

Here's what DisneyLife says "We're so excited to launch DisneyLife, which gives the whole family access to a fantastic collection of Disney and DisneyPixar movies, Disney Channels TV box sets, books, music and more, in one place. DisneyLife will help create magical moments for the whole family to share, so we're keen to hear about your favourite Disney film from childhood and if you've shared a magical moment with your children by watching this together."

So, what was your favourite Disney film when you were a child? Maybe The Jungle Book was your favourite and you would always sing along to the Bare Necessities? Or perhaps you loved Peter Pan and wished you could fly around Neverland? Maybe you watched Pocahontas repeatedly and wanted to learn to paint with all the colours of the wind? Have you shared your favourite Disney film with your DCs?

Whatever your favourite Disney film was, DisneyLife would love to hear about it!

Everyone who adds a comment will be entered in to a prize draw where one winner will receive a £300 Love2Shop voucher.

Peter Pan.
I already loved the book so it was magical to see an imagined Neverland.

Ì saw Peter Pan at our little local cinema when I was about six. I so wanted to be Wendy, and said to my dad on the way out, " How old is Wendy?" When he answered "Oh,about ten..." I was really upset!

Beauty and the Beast, my first ever cinema visit too!

The Little Mermaid. The music is great and Ariel was more relatable to me compared to other Disney Princess movies like Cinderella , Sleeping Beauty and Snow White.

It was the first Disney movie that I laughed out loud with and the best Disney Princess sidekicks ever.

My daughter enjoyed the Little Mermaid but her favourite Disney Princess is Belle. We are excited to see Emma Watson in the Live Action version.

I loved (and still do) the little mermaid!
I love all the other disney films too :)

The first one I saw was The Little Mermaid but my favourite was The Lion King. My own DD adores the oldies - her all time favourite is (the original) Cinderella and Snow White is a close second.

The Fox and the Hound was my favourite Disney film as a child, though I cried every single time, and I think eventually my Mum threw the VHS tape away for that reason! I rewatched it last year and as soon as the 'Goodbye may seem forever' song started, I was in tears again!

It was a toss up between the little mermaid or beauty and the beast, I liked belle because she was brunette, however the little mermaid obviously had a bigger mental impact as I can't eat anything from the sea (bar fish oil vitamins) as the idea of it makes me feel sick. I have shown both films to my daughters but they by far favour tangled (and are happy to eat fish Confused).

I loved The Lion King - fantastic soundtrack! DD is now into Disney and my current favourite is Tangled. I did like Frozen, the first few times...

The Little Mermaid.

It started off my lifelong desire to be a redhead. Grin

I can still sing all the songs. My horrible DC don't appreciate it's wonderfulness. Sad

I watched Bambi aged 4, sobbed a lot, but named my wendy house Bambi Cottage. My favourite was the Lion King - amazing songs and I love Africa.

The Little Mermaid. Remember going to the cinema and then drawing countless pictures afterwards. Borrowing it from the rental place.

Having two DS I wasn't sure what they'd think. Ds2 was about four and loved it. Had an Ariel soft toy. But now it's "not cool" as he's nearly eight.

So I sing a Sebastian alone.

I watched Beauty and the Beast every single day after nursery/school until I ruined the video tape Sad (was replaced within a couple of days to stop me whinging about it)
Everyrime we went into the Disney store at our local shopping centre, I would beg my mum and dad for the Belle dressing up dress to no avail. I finally got it for my 5th birthday and wore it for about 2 weeks solidly.
The obsession didn't end in childhood....
I had a yellow, Belle-style dress for my high school prom Grin

There were no video players when I was a lass... did not even have a (b&w) tv till I was 14 ... so had to go to the cinema to see films. My family was not well off so rarely went but as a reward in last year in primary school we were treated to a visit.

The Film was Fantasia and was my introduction to classical music .... some of these remain favourites nearly 50 later. The blend of cartoons and cinematography with the music is superb.

I have shared many Disney films with my children and grandchildren for 30 years and of the newer one I think the Lion King has that brilliant blend of the memorablr music and visuals.

The Little Mermaid.

It was released when I was 6yo and I remember being obsessed with it for the next few years. I still remember the words to all the songs. I bought the DVD for my 6yo DD but she hasn't taken to it like I did sadly.

I feel very old now, reading all these responses stating seeing Little Mermaid and Lion King as first films at the cinema...

My favourite is Beauty and the Beast. I remember going to the cinema to watch it, and trying to remember the words to all the songs!

Ah Bedknobs and Broomsticks! I loved the way the characters went into the animation scenes, just brilliant. I've yet to share it with my DC's, animation is so different today it'll probably seem rubbish to them!

Love all the Disney movies as there is always something in them which appeals to young and old alike. I love all the old favourites like Mary Poppins, Jungle Book and Peter Pan as it gives me an excuse to sing and jump about. However, my favourite memories as a kid was watching the great Herbie movies and waiting for all the new ones to see where his adventures took him. Saturday night is movie night in our house and we try to watch the old classics. My kids love Herbie and are currently debating on whether to name our car!!!!

I loved Mary Poppins. I watched it again a few years ago and it was just as good. It didn't seem dated at all. I really used to fancy myself in the staring role.
