To celebrate the launch of DisneyLife, the new digital membership service from Disney, they'd love to hear about your favourite Disney films from your childhood and whether you've shared this film with your DCs.

Here's what DisneyLife says "We're so excited to launch DisneyLife, which gives the whole family access to a fantastic collection of Disney and DisneyPixar movies, Disney Channels TV box sets, books, music and more, in one place. DisneyLife will help create magical moments for the whole family to share, so we're keen to hear about your favourite Disney film from childhood and if you've shared a magical moment with your children by watching this together."

So, what was your favourite Disney film when you were a child? Maybe The Jungle Book was your favourite and you would always sing along to the Bare Necessities? Or perhaps you loved Peter Pan and wished you could fly around Neverland? Maybe you watched Pocahontas repeatedly and wanted to learn to paint with all the colours of the wind? Have you shared your favourite Disney film with your DCs?

Whatever your favourite Disney film was, DisneyLife would love to hear about it!

Everyone who adds a comment will be entered in to a prize draw where one winner will receive a £300 Love2Shop voucher.

Thanks & good luck,

I struggle to name one favourite but I loved beauty and the beast, Fantasia, the sword in the stone and basil the great mouse detective.

My daughter is now getting into watching Disney
and i love getting to watch all these all over again, plus new favourites in tangled and frozen.

I am a Bambino girl myself and until now I could not share it with DS. However yesterday DS bought a book in The Works with one Disney story for each day of the year and I could show Bambi to him. He liked the story we read together.

HelenSw4les · 01/01/2016 20:45

My favourite was Bambi and I remember it always making my mum shed a tear.

Johnny5isAlive · 01/01/2016 21:19

Loved Mary Poppins. Watched it every Christmas (the only time films were really shown on tv - and such a treat!)

mistywillow17 · 01/01/2016 22:00

The Lion King was my favourite - my dad took me to see it, and I had to wait five minutes at the end to compose myself before leaving the cinema, as I had been sobbing so much throughout and was a complete mess. Can't wait to share it with my son when he is old enough.

Mine was always Snow White. Still is come to think of it :D

The Jungle Book

houseHuntinginmanchester · 02/01/2016 02:53

The wizard of oz! I always wanted glittery red shoes like Dorothy but never got them

IsItIorAreTheOthersCrazy · 02/01/2016 10:56

Peter Pan was always my favourite. I had it on video for Christmas and used to watch it on repeat. I could never decide if I wanted to be Peter, Wendy or Tinkerbell.

I don't have any dc yet but Watching Disney films is my thing with my nephew - although he is more a Robin Hood / lion king type boy. I did however get him to completely fall in love with Beauty and the beast Smile

This may sound a bit odd but I don't recall any Disney films from childhood. I'm 44, my childhood wasn't about films so much as treehouses and bike rides and games. I only really watched them when my son was younger and then we absolutely loved Jungle Book the best!

NotCitrus · 02/01/2016 12:54

Jungle Book. Our local cinema had closed down so it was the first time I'd been taken to the cinema in five years, and we didn't have a video player yet.

Just as well I loved it as we had to learn the songs at all four of my schools!

cookie09 · 02/01/2016 15:25

My fave was lady and the tramp. That was as much romance a child could have back in them days, with the spaghetti and meatballs scene. How cute! No wonder i have dogs now, fell in love with them from the Disney films back then.

izbiz88 · 02/01/2016 15:34

Where do I start!! I love them all but I think my favourite was always Beauty and the Beast. I could identify with Belle being a bookworm myself, and being a bit of a romantic I just loved the idea of love winning out over looks, behaviour and...er... different species ;)

I also loved Aladdin though - how could you not with Robin Williams giving his usual fabulous performance?!

sofieellis · 02/01/2016 15:37

I loved the Jungle Book and remember reading the book/having it read to me, as well as going to see the film and a stage play of it. I still love it now, as do my own children.

Alfieisnoisy · 02/01/2016 16:30

I loved Peter Pan (and still do), loved the magic of it all.

SheerWill · 02/01/2016 18:08

How do you choose a favourite Disney film? They were my childhood. The first film I ever watched at the cinema with my parents was Bambi and apparently I was so upset by the death if his mum that I sat on the floor next to my seat tears streaming down my face. I also loved singing and dancing so used to play my Disney song tapes over and over again in my room to learn the worlds and reenact the scenes from the films.

Aladdin has to be my all time favourite, with The Lion King and The Little Mermaid close behind. Now I can watch them with my son, who also loves the songs and enjoy them for the first time all over again.

mamamia68 · 02/01/2016 19:04

The first movie I saw at the cinema aged 6 was Walt Disney's Robin Hood (1973). I still remember the voice of the Fox, who left a great impression on me as the charming, loveable rogue. To this day, Foxes are my favourite animal all thanks to this film!

thisismypassword · 02/01/2016 19:24

Absolutely loved Beauty and the Beast.my Grandpa bought me it on VHS and I was so excited to open it on Christmas Day. Disney is embedded in many people's memories from childhood. Now my memories are coming from watching these same movies with my daughters. Magical.

marshgirl · 02/01/2016 22:11

It would have to be Robin Hood closely followed by Mary Poppins. Which my daughter wore out when growing up !

tinkertink2010 · 03/01/2016 03:33

The Little Mermaid - I was obsessed! Still love it now!

Myfavouritebookis · 03/01/2016 05:29

The Sword in the Stone. Saw it in a beautiful cinema that is no more.

lexiemac13 · 03/01/2016 07:04

Beauty and the Beast always was and still is my favourite Disney film. It's actually my favourite film of all time. I am obsessed. My children love Beauty and the Beast, although they have other favourite Disney films before this one but we quite regularly watch Beauty and the Beast throughout the year! I am getting married this year to my fiancé and children's father, and I would totally have a Beauty & the Beast themed wedding if I were allowed haha!

naomicm · 03/01/2016 11:51

Definitely The Jungle Book, I could sing it all to you now! My children love it too, even though they now have lots more to choose from! Also love The Lion King, my little brother (12 years younger) watched it incessantly which means we did too...Happy times!

christinelucey · 03/01/2016 12:02

My favourite Disney film as a child was and still is sleeping beauty

MummyBtothree · 03/01/2016 12:11

Pinnochio! I absolutely love it. I remember my Grandma taking me to the pictures to see it. I love to sit on a Sunday afternoon with my three boys and watch any Disney film.:)
