To celebrate the launch of DisneyLife, the new digital membership service from Disney, they'd love to hear about your favourite Disney films from your childhood and whether you've shared this film with your DCs.

Here's what DisneyLife says "We're so excited to launch DisneyLife, which gives the whole family access to a fantastic collection of Disney and DisneyPixar movies, Disney Channels TV box sets, books, music and more, in one place. DisneyLife will help create magical moments for the whole family to share, so we're keen to hear about your favourite Disney film from childhood and if you've shared a magical moment with your children by watching this together."

So, what was your favourite Disney film when you were a child? Maybe The Jungle Book was your favourite and you would always sing along to the Bare Necessities? Or perhaps you loved Peter Pan and wished you could fly around Neverland? Maybe you watched Pocahontas repeatedly and wanted to learn to paint with all the colours of the wind? Have you shared your favourite Disney film with your DCs?

Whatever your favourite Disney film was, DisneyLife would love to hear about it!

Everyone who adds a comment will be entered in to a prize draw where one winner will receive a £300 Love2Shop voucher.

jacknutter · 03/01/2016 16:02

The Lion King

cluckyhen · 03/01/2016 16:46

Sleeping Beauty - it was the only one I had!

lynwestie · 03/01/2016 18:52

I loved the Jungle book as a child

ang29061 · 03/01/2016 19:43

My favourite film when I was younger (and still is now) is Beauty and The Beast

Cirsium · 03/01/2016 20:10

I loved The Fox and The Hound, i don't know if I actually saw the film as a child but I read the book again and again. I desperately wanted to find an abandoned fox cub to keep as a pet. I got my fill of the film when I looked after a little girl who loved it in my first nannying job. She was frightened of the bear though.

My first memory of Disney was visiting the cinema to see Bambi when I was very young, I still love this film but I think my favourite as to be Snow White.

jayz268 · 03/01/2016 20:59

My favourite was always Beauty and the Beast!

Kem99 · 03/01/2016 21:40

The Jungle Book, great story and such wonderful songs. Watched it recently when it was on tv but my DS just wasn't interested in it whatsoever!

ser01 · 03/01/2016 22:24

Bedknobs and broomsticks

mumsnit · 03/01/2016 22:35

Definitely The Jungle Book. The music is amazing and the songs have stayed in my head since childhood!

Sadly my kids didn't really enjoy it. I think they are so used to high octane action and fast American dialogue in modern animated films it just didn't cut it with them.

Aladdin, no contest. One of my earliest memories is seeing it at the cinema with my late grandparents; my nana told me it was a joy to watch it with me as I laughed so much. I loved the Genie. I cried when Robin Williams died.
Now I watch Disney films with my kids and I definitely understand why my nana enjoyed sharing the experience; I love watching my kids laugh at their favourite jokes.

jamielmdjs · 04/01/2016 01:41

lady and the tramp.

the endearing rogue, the love story, the villains, it has it all. All my babies have had a lady teddy, even though tramp was my fav.

cloudjumper · 04/01/2016 02:17

The first film I ever saw in the cinema was Disney's Snow White - it has been the first film my dad ever saw in the cinema, so he used me as an excuse to go and see it again.
But my childhood favourites were Peter Pan, Aristocats and The Jungle Book, and I love watching them again now with DS.

tompob · 04/01/2016 07:42

as a child I was just trapped in bed knobs and brromsticks that mixture of animation and real life just blew me away and the songs...still make me smile

nonnyno · 04/01/2016 12:41

I loved Bambi as a child. I also had the beautifully illustrated book. Recently I bought the DVD - it's still just as good!

shydaylily · 04/01/2016 12:49

Bambi, i sobbed my little heart out.

kayleigh39 · 04/01/2016 18:00

It has got to be Lion King! I could watch that over and over again!

GooodMythicalMorning · 04/01/2016 18:01

Aladdin. The genie was amazing and I loved the brightness of it all. plus the songs are very singable!

cheryl100 · 04/01/2016 18:52

I loved Snow White and how it shows that people can act differently and look differently, yet still be valued and accepted :)

PegsPigs · 04/01/2016 19:03

Dumbo. It was very sad to me but our whole family would sit around and watch it together so it always made me happy in the end.

compstruck · 04/01/2016 19:05

Mum took us to see Bambi when we were very young and it was so sad at the beginning, always remember, but a lovely Disney film. I think my favourite is The Jungle Book, as the songs are very uplifting and fun.

icehousewin · 04/01/2016 19:50

Winnie-the-Pooh! You can't beat a cuddly, fuzzy classic! :)

barricade · 04/01/2016 19:58

Disney have had so many classics that it's impossible to list just one movie as a favourite ... it probably was Jungle Book / Bambi / Snow White / Black Cauldron / etc. (1980's) to Aladdin and Lion King (1990's) to Pirates Of The Caribbean (2000's) to Big Hero 6 and Frozen (current). And of course, that's not including Marvel, Pixar or Lucasfilm.
